My absolute favorite Mancera fragrance, along with Cedrat Boise. The vanilla in Aoud Vanille, in combination with the smoky, subtle oud, is simply mystical, mysterious and enchanting for me. In my opinion, Piere Montale (perfumer) has created the perfect combination of smoky, powdery, edgy - paired with sweet, vanilla, soft. And to make the complete fragrance "perfect", a totally unisex fragrance with an excellent performance has been created here. And good quality at a fair price. For me, an absolute must-have for fall and winter or as a night-time companion. Especially for people who don't have a large collection, Aoud Vanille covers a very wide variety of tastes thanks to its diverse accents in the fragrance and will appeal to a great many people. I don't normally rate fragrances because I don't think you can divide perfumes into numbers. But fragrances that make me absolutely enthusiastic and are brilliant hits in the olfactory sense, where NOTHING can or should be improved or changed... I give such perfumes a 10/10! Just to express my enthusiasm and appreciation for the fragrance!

For me: Mancera Aoud Vanilla, a clear 10/10!

The Gentleman Society was something very special for me, even after the first spray. For me, it was unique, special and a perfect everyday fragrance for the modern man of today.

The opening is something very special, the pleasant and refreshing note of sage immediately hits your nose. Simply wonderful! I get a fresh and at the same time sweet, balsamic, woody top note. This opening is simply wonderful and the star of the perfume.

It stays like this for about 1.5 to 2 hours. The projection is also really strong during this time.

After the opening, the fragrance settles a little and the projection also decreases significantly. From then on, the fragrance is more skin-deep and the second part of this wonderful fragrance begins.

The entire fragrance becomes woodier, smoother and brings out the wonderful Palo Santo (sandalwood) accords. Beautiful woods accompanied by a hint of smoky accents. A very subtle powderiness and a soothing vanilla sweetness blend wonderfully with each other and alternate again and again.

The interplay of the individual accords and this smoothness are something very special. Nevertheless, connoisseurs of the Gentleman range can still smell the DNA that all Givenchy Gentleman fragrances share.

The whole fragrance lasts about 7 hours on my skin. Even longer on textiles.

Gentleman Society is a wonderful everyday fragrance with an absolutely ingenious design. It goes everywhere and at all times, making it the perfect signature fragrance for men over 25. As it also exudes a certain masculinity due to the smoky and woody accords, I find it rather unsuitable for the very young among us!

For me, it's a direct hit and a modern masterpiece.
I can only recommend everyone to try the fragrance on their skin. Because I'm sure a lot of people will like the fragrance, even those who aren't so enthusiastic about it at first.

It's sure to score points with the opposite sex too, if the wearer scores...

PS: I read here in the comments that this fragrance smells like many other fragrances... I would be very interested to know which fragrances are meant? Because to my nose it smells very unique and no other fragrance comes to mind right away.

Initios Absolute Aphrodisiac stands from the public perception unfortunately behind the usual suspects of the brand. Side Effect, Oud for Greatness, or Musk Therapy are felt on everyone's lips and no one is interested in the Absolute Aphrodisiac.

But more than unjustly for my taste.

Because what Initio has brewed here is truly aphrodisiac. Both for carriers, as well as his immediate environment.

Absolute Aphrodisiac starts delicately, warmly, soothingly. Everything this beguiling brew gives off screams passion, security and love.

Like an initial relationship, where you notice at the counterpart already at the first meeting;

It floats already at the beginning passion and attachment with. After a short time, the infatuation becomes an intimate and intense partnership. Security, safety but also a certain erotic tension prevails between both partners.

And exactly THAT also applies to the wonderful perfume from the house Initio.

Absolutely Aphrodisiac pulls me already after a short time and the opening in its spell! After about 1 hour it happens namely; the wonderfully designed vanilla, with rough edges, not Perfect and slightly "dirty", begins to pull me as a carrier in her spell. As in a partnership, one loves his counterpart also, or just because of it. Because of these edges!
It is LOVE.

And love is also this fragrance for me.

After initial, slightly sweet, very slightly fresh and floral prelude unfolds a warmth that is unmistakable: vanilla, musk (a light skin accord) and a slight Boozyness, result in an aura that envelops and surrounds me. Through the castoreum (castoneum), this great combo is underlined, supported and thereby results in an irresistible fragrance cloud, which I can not escape!
Each person who enters my comfort zone and approaches at arm's length, will perceive this aura and be beguiled by it, just like me as a carrier.

After about 2 hours of getting to know each other and passion in the opening, Absolut Aphrodisiac becomes a little denser more profound just like a relationship. It becomes love.

And this love in the form of molecules, remains for the next 7 to 8 hours (on me) skin perceptible and will accompany you. The slight sweetness remains. The fragrance becomes warmer and the amber-vanilla mixture becomes denser and fuller.

The vanilla is slightly reminiscent of Guerlain's Spiriteuse Doubles Vanille. Yes. However, the Initio Vanille has the more exciting, deeper or darker touch for me.
Even if you have the feeling you are alone, a quick sniff on you is enough and you know immediately: you have not left me. I am not alone. You accompany me even if I do not pay attention to you.
Because it is love!

PS: Can be used as a lure for both sexes. But be careful, you will most likely never get rid of the person!

On my skin good projection about 2 hours, then skin tight. Sillage: the scent leaves the room together with the wearer. Durability about 7 to 9 hours on me. Funnily enough, on the fragrance strip or jacket after days still perceptible.

By the hype and the praise of others, I decided to order the JPG Le Male Elixir Blind. Since I appreciate the Le Parfum very much and this elixir yes similarity with the Le Parfum should have, I thought, can not go wrong.

However, far from it.

For my nose, he lacks the slightly oriental, which owns the Le Parfum and he smells for me very Eindimensional after dough, cookie or sometimes even after peppermint chocolate candy

It is truly not a bad fragrance.
But by the overwhelmingly positive votes, the expectation was simply higher.

Is a crowdpleaser, which many like, however, with too much sprayer, also a candidate for enormous headache.

Not a bad fragrance, but also not a must-have for my taste. Normally I like Gourmands, but here I am missing something ...
