My go to summer scent
This is a twist on fleur narcotique by the same perfumer, Quentin Bisch, who delivered an even better version of the original - unisex with a silvery, diamond like opening that makes it my most favorite summer fragrance since 2 years to date. After the opening it goes into a clean floral heart that is slightly vibrant (think feathers in the wind over a slightly milky musk). For more on the perfume and my obsession for it please watch my review on YouTube as linked below.
Bombastic beautiful perfume
La bomba is inspired by the explosive personality of the brand owner, Carolina Herrera and it is indeed a bombastic fragrances. It sparkles joy with juicy and fresh fruit with tropical almondy nuances to lead in a heart of roses and peonies. The base is bold and modern, this is a very contemporary fragrance, aligned with current niche trends rather than designer trends. Maybe a mix of the 2. For more details please watch my video on YouTube linked here below.
A trendy flanker
This perfume is a follower of the current lychee rose combo trend. While the notes may suggest something different, don’t get fooled, it’s that trend mixed with the dna of the famous Cavalli line. It’s powdery, fruity, rose, then creamy and vanillic. Pleasant but not outstanding. For more details please watch my review on the video linked here below.
Not what we’re used to - better!
This flanker is probably my favorite of the line and I understand why it’s not being so well received by Narciso’s musk lovers. This is an osmanthus perfume with fruity, floral and leathery facets on an ambery vanillic musky base. Osmanthus is what it makes it a for her flanker, but the backbone of the perfume would be more for Tom Ford or, more precisely, Ella K Lettre de Pushkar lovers. In my YouTube video you will find more details about the comparison of the perfumes and the aesthetics.
Airy gourmand
Lattafa Victoria has been a blind buy of a late night retail therapy “session”and it’s been a lucky one. It’s belonging to the current trend of citrusy vanillic fragrances leaning gourmand. What makes it special to my nose it it’s airy quality- it spreads in the air in the most delicate way - thank you synthetics! - and that’s what makes it special and intriguing. I am also comparing it to the other perfumes in the citrusy gourmand family in my YouTube video linked here below. In case you are interested in more details.
