...on a charming wooden chair in Italy next to a lemon tree at 30 degrees...
I have owned this fragrance for about 3 years now.
Every year during the summer, I look forward to wearing it and indulging in this beautiful citrusy, fresh scent.
And as soon as it is sprayed on, I have to close my eyes and quickly find myself in Italy next to a lemon tree - in a small cove with gentle waves. I am wearing a loose white linen shirt, a pair of short swim trunks, brown Birkenstocks, and sunglasses. The sun is shining, and it is 30 degrees in the shade under the sun umbrella. I am drinking a still water with a slice of lemon - the espresso tastes excellent. The charming wooden chair I am sitting on is unfortunately a bit uncomfortable - but that fits the vibe of this bar. The huge lemon tree next to me radiates the incredible charm and credibility of Italy. I don’t know why, but this tree fascinates me in a completely different way.
After about an hour in this charming bar, which is by no means overrun by tourists but rather a hidden gem, I have read about 8 pages in my book, and I have had two espressos and two chilled waters.
Suddenly, I see in the sky how the sun fades, how the lemons on the tree wilt, how the light blue sea water recedes, and a chair leg breaks.
So I open my eyes again and find myself back in Germany.
In short and clear: Perfect fragrance for summer, longevity/sillage is unfortunately a complete disgrace - it really doesn’t last longer than an hour for me. The bottle is very high quality and looks great on the shelf.
Absolute blind buy and mass pleaser.
Best regards, Philipp

At first wow, then ciao
I was really looking forward to this fragrance, as I had heard a lot of positive things and the scent notes in the fragrance profile appealed to me very much.
I must mention, however, that I had not smelled the fragrance beforehand, but bought it blind.
At first, the scent notes are really very nice and pleasant. A true summer fragrance. After 5-10 minutes on the skin, it develops very strongly towards "freshly laundered bed linen" and becomes "soapy." This type of scent is unfortunately not for me at all. I can understand that some wear this fragrance at the gym or use it as a daily scent. For me, it goes too much in that direction.
The bottle is high-quality and I really like it a lot.
The price-performance ratio is excellent. You get a good fragrance (if you like it) and the longevity/sillage is also top-notch.
All in all, however, it is not a fragrance that I will continue to wear.
Best regards, Philipp

Signature Scent for Autumn/Winter
When autumn began this year, I asked my colleagues for fragrance recommendations. He suggested a few, including Liquid Brun. Due to the very good price-performance ratio, I ordered LB, thinking I couldn't go wrong with it.
The bottle comes in an impressive packaging, as one would expect from FA. However, the bottle itself is not that impressive. Rather mediocre... But what matters is, as we know, what's inside :)
When I sprayed the fragrance, I was immediately thrilled by the harmony of cinnamon and vanilla. At first, cinnamon clearly dominates, which then (in my opinion) settles down slightly over time. The musk is permanently present and not just on the skin, but also in the surroundings.
For me, it's one of the best and "roundest" scents I've ever smelled and a perfect companion for the cold days. No, not a companion but a partner on equal footing.
At this point, I would like to thank Justus, who provided me with these insights and made me very, very happy with my new fragrance.
Best regards, Philipp
P.S.: Since I haven't smelled the Althair yet, I can't comment on the dupe ratio.
