Philyrae

An elegant smoky rose, more cousin to La Fille de Berlin than Rose 31.

A fresh summer fennel salad. The fennel and anise are well executed, sillage and longevity are average.

Spicy, smoky, pine-y and resinous. Hot spices with a cold chill. Good for licorice/fennel lovers or fans of CdG Black or Odeur 73.

Is this a beautifully composed dewy Angelica that shimmers through a mist? Yes. Does it last even an hour? No.

Unrated and unrateable. It’s a milky, nutty gourmand, less animalic than it promises but the “plasticky” note is true to its namesake.
