No, no, don't crumple the rose!
Ooh, Atelier Cologne. About a year or longer ago I was really keen on these scents. I don't know why, but somehow they had a certain attraction for me, so I wanted to test as many fragrances of them as possible. I was even about to order samples from their website if I hadn't finally discovered the scents here somewhere.
Anyway, I tried a lot of these fragrances of course, but at some point the brand went down a bit, which is only because I always discovered new fragrances, so it wasn't the brand itself. Now I got some samples of Atelier Cologne from you fragrance crazy people again, and even if I already know some of them, there were also some I hadn't tried yet. Rose Anonyme for example!
Hmm... Rose Anonyme? Well, that looks like me... because if I gave a worshipped lady a rose that doesn't know me yet, I'd probably be a little shy and give her the rose with the ugliness of anonymity (*SCHLUCHZ*)... She'd enjoy it, maybe sniff it... and then maybe crumple it up and throw it away, waaah!
Maybe I only have this thought because I recently saw the movie "Enchanting Lies" with Audrey Tautou (uuuh.... she looks good!!!). Because in the film she gets an anonymous love letter from her admirer (who is one of her employees), who also doesn't dare to confess his love. By chance she reads this letter in her shop, so that the guy in love can also see how she reads the letter. Afterwards you can see her smiling as she likes the letter. The guy has to smile because his letter arrived well, just to see the next moment how she crumples it up and throws it into the trash can!!! *sigh* :D
Well, I'll get the scent!
Oud and these spices (which luckily smell a bit better later) are partly so strong that they cover the roses a little, so that the scent radiates like a powdery oud scent especially in the heart note.
Over time, the fragrance becomes softer, the herbaceous notes disappear completely and are increasingly replaced by sweeter notes. That means, now it smells (again) like roses, which can be perceived slightly sour, but also slightly sweet, with soft, gentle notes and of course the oud.
The shelf life is quite good, as you can smell the scent for over ten hours.
Yes yes,... once again a 7.5er rating from me... a rating that I quite often give, but you probably noticed that long ago. You should know that 7.5 points means the following for me: A beautiful fragrance, far better than the average, but still not outstanding. For me personally, it is not a fragrance that I have to buy unless I find a good offer of it. But a bottling of 7.5s is definitely worth it for me, as well as recommendations, because others might like them better. Theoretically, if the price is right, one could not do anything wrong with fragrances starting from this rating, but one should not expect anything unusual for a long time. Oh,... Ratings are sometimes hard :D
Here you can smell roses and oud as main scents. The herbaceous notes are a bit too special, especially at the beginning or in the heart note, but weaken in the further course, nevertheless you should test this fragrance yourself before you order it blind or so, since roses, oud and the herbaceous special could not necessarily meet everyone's (or every woman's...) taste.
Its fragrance makes it an all-rounder for me, so it can be used at any time of the year. During the day, I'd put it on a little more discreetly than when I went out.

Well, I'll get the scent!
The fragrance:
Rose, slightly fluffy oud and ginger. That is the order in which this fragrance begins. The roses smell immediately in a rather intense way, the oud is also strong, but smells airier than usual. The ginger is hinted at, but one can perceive the herbaceous note. However, the ginger is quickly amplified with the quite strong patchouli and both have a somewhat peculiar, heavy-spicy scent mixed, which goes in the direction of rather special notes, such as cardamom, which I personally don't find soo pleasant.
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is at first still quite strong, which might be mainly due to the Oud. Later, the charisma goes back a little, but remains a longer time over good smellable at one. So you leave a fragrance cloud everywhere where you appear :DThe shelf life is quite good, as you can smell the scent for over ten hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with strongly rounded sides or edges. On the front side you can see a dark purple label, which has been put a little to the side, but reaches around the corner to the back of the bottle. In the background there are line patterns forming the letters of the word 'cologne'. On the back there's a little text with a story, but I don't know if that's the case with every fragrance. The lid is cylindrical and wrapped in leather. It's a nice bottle. Yes yes,... once again a 7.5er rating from me... a rating that I quite often give, but you probably noticed that long ago.
