This is a really classic delicate feminine perfume. I think this is a great spring and summer scent. I also think for occasions since it is soft you can wear it daily or to formal events where you don't want to be too over powering. I think this would be good for office wear if you're allowed to wear perfume.

Edit: After about two weeks the anise has died a little and its blends really well with almonds and the dry stays this soft vanilla almond powder for multiple hours. It keeps its moderate projection for most of the wear which is really nice.

First Impressions:
It opens with the anise and ginger, I also smelled the almond accords in the opening so it was a little bitter but it was not over powering. A lot of people said it smelled synthetic and spicy but I didn't find that in my case. If I had to describe the ginger I would say it makes the top notes zingy rather than spicy. It caught my attention, like a little surprise, but it didn't last very long. As it dries down the middle notes start coming through. This is where the classic perfume smell comes in for me. The almond is it not at the forefront of the scent and really rounds out the florals. I found the jasmine to be really prominent in both the middle and the dry down of the perfume. The dry down really doesn't do anything for me. The moss starts poking through and added with the jasmine, and other bitter elements, it muddies the vanilla out. The dry down was quite powdery as well, it was inoffensive but also nothing special and really has the scent falling flat on its face as this is delicate floral, bitter, nutty scent ends smelling like muted earth.

If I had to describe this scent it reminds me of fresh green tea. When you smell green tea powder from the cans, directly.


I also only do one or two sprays per arm as I test through out the day in case I want to spray more later.
I always test perfumes on a napkin a day or two before I actually wear it on skin to see if there's any difference between what I smell. I would say the almond was more present when sprayed on the napkin than on skin. I also like doing this test as it allows for me to smell the notes over a longer time frame as the perfume stays on the napkin way longer than skin.

Overall the scent is powdery, flora, and vanilla. It also has musk notes which makes it seem super airy. It has a really strong orris, heliotrope, and vetiver scent. I really love it as floral scent as the musk helps it not be too over powering, I love the dry down the tonka bean adds a smooth element. Its my go to for a day out this past spring and summer.

The opening is a very strong milky, musky, floral scent, it also smells subtly sweet. The overall scent is orange, rice, and milky. It has white floral and musky undertones which makes it very easy to layer with. It does have grassy dry down but its not that strong. I use this as a base perfume and layer with the cashmere skin mist from phulr for at home, daily, wear. Its very comforting and I spray it lightly at night time for a super cozy experience.

I initially bought the oil dropper first and I wish I stopped there. The oil is very much a skin scent and doesn't really project but has a great blend of this deep vanilla that isn't like other perfumes and I believe is much closer to the vision the full bottle wanted to achieve.
The full bottle has way too much musk in it.

The real reason why I wanted to make this review is due to the packaging of the oil dropper. This was my first oil dropper/roller and no other company has made as a bottle quite like it. If you fully uncap the top you get the traditional roller ball and if you only uncap the lid you get an oil dropper which allows for more application than the roller ball. Its really nice how you can choose the level of oil you want just by twisting a different part of the cap. Considering the price the packaging is really durable, adaptable, and impressive.

This perfume is a really deep musk, it opens with this and mostly smells like this the entire time, I can't really smell any other notes. It's very animalistic. The coconut and vanilla are more prominent in the dry down but they aren't very strong. If you want a more vanilla formulation the oil dropper is much better, as it muted the musk.
