So good, but where is the strawberry y'all talk about???
*I have the roll-on perfume oil version of this scent, NOT the spray. I cannot speak for how the spray smells or performs.*
I was so afraid of being let down by this scent because of all the hype around it, but I was so pleasantly surprised. This is such a great creamy, sweet, and fruity scent - tropical fruits, that is. Don't listen to influencers - Yara is not a strawberry scent! Strawberry isn't even listed in the perfumer's official notes. I bought this specifically because of its tropical notes to go with some of my other tropical fragrances, and it makes for SUCH good layering but it is also good on its own. I could easily see this becoming someone's signature scent!
The biggest reason why I wanted to write this review, however, is Yara's longevity. I am a food service worker who is constantly washing my hands up to my elbows while working. I put this oil on around 90 minutes before my shift. After getting home from work and resting for a while, I decided to sniff my inner elbow where I put the oil earlier - and I could STILL smell it. This was about 8 hours after I put it on... Now, it wasn't very strong, but I was shocked that it was still there at all after hours of working. If this perfume can survive a shift at (Dried Jalapeno Pepper) it can survive anything. I highly recommend it.
I know there are scams and bootlegs going around for some Arab fragrances - I personally got my oil from Intense Oud's TikTok shop during a free shipping sale, but I think this scent is worth it for the full price!

Just get rosewater spray
I like this scent but it is so, so weak. On dry skin, I can't smell it after ~15 minutes. With lotion, it lasts to about 30. This may be because I have an older bottle, but the scent of the alcohol is also noticeable. However, the scent has always been weak, even when the bottle was new.
Sweet Love smells like a slightly sweet rosewater spray (the skincare product). If you want a long-lasting rose scent, I would avoid this. I think the best scenario to use this spray is as a relaxing scent before bed...
I am not a skincare girlie by any means but I know a lot of people love using rosewater spray as toner, so maybe that would be a better alternative to this if you just want a light rose scent and to get the benefits from it as a skincare product. If you want a longer-lasting scent, I don't know of any similar perfumes, but the Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater lotion smells like straight rosewater and lasts FOREVER on me. I am not sure where this product is sold or if it is still available as I got it as a hand-me-down, but it's great if you love rose scents!

My Favorite BBW Scent Right Now!
I LOVE Sweetheart Cherry - pistachio and cherry are my favorite notes, so this was practically made for me! If you love sweet cherry scents with a light nuttiness to them I highly recommend this. I hope they bring this back again!
This scent is not very strong and usually only lasts around an hour or 2 on me depending on what I'm doing. However, that is on my dry skin, without any lotion or other products added to "enhance" the scent or give it better staying power. The sillage isn't very strong either but people have noticed it on me, usually in the first 30 mins of wear.
As with all Bath and Body Works scents, I don't think they're overpriced, but there are other sprays out there that are of the same quality yet cheaper. If you do not want to pay full price for this scent I recommend waiting for a sale. If you want a cheaper "vibe match" I recommend trying the body spray version of Sabrina Carpenter Cherry Baby, which is $10 and has a similar vibe. After about an hour they smell the same on me.

Not sure what to think
I'm mixed on this scent... I heard it was a dupe for BBW's Beautiful Day, which was a favorite of mine when I was younger. To be honest, I haven't smelled it in a long time, so I can't say how accurate that is. I think this smells great on paper and in the bottle but on my skin the floral (especially the rose) comes off a bit too strong. It basically just smells like an apple and rose scent. While I don't mind rose notes, I don't want to wear something where it dominates over everything else. It smells good on my clothes though, so I think I'll stick to that.
It lasted around 2-3 hours on me and as it was $3 I have no complaints about the price. There's no reason not to try it if you're interested.
