Cold and fresh
Chloe is my signature late winter Jan-Feb scent because smells cold and bright. It almost has a sort of ozonic, watery note to it. It makes me think fresh snow sparkling in the sunlight, or that cold air in the first few weeks of spring. This fragrance is also one of the few fresh fragrances I have tried that has some serious projection and lasting power. I definitely smell her alllllll dayyyy.

Nostalgia in a Bottle
I grew up in Florida and routinely went to the beach on the weekends with my family as a kid. This perfume conjures up the sweetest nostalgic memories for me, and I imagine would for any beach lover.

It comes off strong on the first spray as a strong sunscreen/bugspray smell (gotta keep the mosquitoes away), reminiscent of piling out of the car and dousing myself in sunscreen before running shoeless across screaming hot pavement to the splintery boardwalk. After it dries down, I start to smell the sea salt and ocean water as I crest the dunes of the beach and embrace the ocean air with the ocean spread out before me. Then, as the day winds down and it's time to leave the beach, I smell the subtle blooms of jasmine and orange blossoms flanking the parking lot as we head home.

Yumminess in a bottle
I found this perfume at a TJ MAXX and bought it instantly. Went home and absolutely doused myself in it. It smells soooo deliciously yummy, like baking spiced sugar cookies in late October while the leaves are changing colors. I definitely get caramel, sugar, milk, and subtle spice. Longevity isn't super great, about 2 hours, but for the price point, you really can't beat it if you're a gourmand lover.

That said, I haven't found anything that it layers well with, since I like to layer sweeter perfumes with spicier/darker scents, but it wears just fine on its own.
