A scent for me, myself and I
Although I really like the scent profile, I don't consider this perfume versatile. I don't find myself using it frequently. I am familiar with Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum (I assume the "normal" version is almost identical) and there are many similarities between the two fragrances. In Portugal, it is not as widely used as in other parts of the world (from what I've read), but still, there is something about its characteristics that doesn't make me gravitate towards using it more often.
It is floral and sweet, strong (very strong) and I don't consider it inappropriate for temperatures around 20ºC / 68ºF as long as you use a maximum of 3 sprays (in winter, I don't use more than 4), but I don't consider it office-friendly (and it is too "aggressive" to use on public transport). But I do like the smell a lot. Along with Amore Caffé, it is my favorite Mancera (a brand with some somewhat "synthetic" ingredients - yes, I know that almost everything is synthetic in most perfumes from all brands - that make some of their perfumes a bit too much for me). Ideal for enjoying our own scent when we are outdoors and/or alone in an enclosed space.

Spray YSL La Nuit De L'Homme Bleu Électrique and listen to La Rade by Yann Tiersen
Among the perfumes I have, this one, along with Guerlain's L’Homme Ideal EDP, gives me the greatest sense of happiness and calm (and I don't have any olfactory memories associated with these two fragrances).
For a few months, this YSL was hard to find in Europe (mine came from the Czech Republic), but I finally managed to buy it. Even though I paid more than usual compared to a few months ago (I bought a 60 ml bottle for €62 in September 2023), the purchase was fully satisfying.
It belongs to the YSL L’Homme “family” but has some special characteristics. The opening is fantastic, and the dry down is as well. It is not a great projector and doesn't last long on my skin (about 6 hours on a good day), but it is one of those scents that are truly worth trying at least once in a lifetime. Suitable for any season of the year, this is the scent profile I would like to find more often among the blue fragrances that proliferate out there. I don't like most of them (neither Sauvage, nor Bleu de Chanel, nor MYSLF or Luna Rossa Ocean, among others), but this perfume is quite different from the ones I mentioned. A must-have!

The Mighty Naxos
I have a kind of "schizophrenic" relationship with Naxos. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't, sometimes I really love it... sometimes all of this within the span of 1 or 2 hours.
The longevity is amazing for me (over 12 hours most of the time). I find the scent quite original (I am not familiar with Pure Havane by Mugler often associated with Naxos) and the quality of the ingredients appears to be very good (as is the overall presentation of this perfume - and in all Xerjoff perfumes).
I also think it is quite versatile not only in relation to the seasons of the year but also in relation to the daily situations in which we can use it. But it is not an essential perfume for me. I don't know if it's the honey note that occasionally makes it somewhat cloying for me or if it's some other note.
In any case, most of the time, I really like this fragrance. However, I always find another perfume that I prefer to use for the same situation. It's an half love - but more than a simple like.

Sniff it while listening to the album Intoxicated Man by Mick Harvey
It is usually described as a refined version of Mugler's AMen. Although I have only smelled the Mugler once (and it didn't captivate me much), the comparison seems accurate, but unlike AMen, I quite like this perfume.
The blend of spices, coffee, and vanilla works very well and makes this scent addictive, leading us to want to be constantly sniffing it. The longevity and projection are quite good, but the high price of a 50 ml bottle (more than €200) is excessive.
Given its characteristics, it is not exactly a versatile fragrance (more suitable for special occasions/events) but it has a good performance on my skin (more than 8 hours of longevity).

The smell of "Murder Ballads" by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Some scents remind me of certain songs or even entire albums. In this case, not because it has any particularly bloody characteristics - the perfume, because Nick Cave's album is full of them - but rather because of the class that this fragrance exudes, I associate "Murder Ballads" (bloody but classy) with this scent. Maybe it's because of the iconic red bottle...
Fahrenheit EDT was, for a long time, my signature scent. I don't pay much attention to the usual complaints (and laments) about reformulations and batch X being better than batch Y, but in this case, there are considerable differences between what this perfume (EDT) used to be and what it is now (although I appreciate the current version and will buy a bottle soon).
I have always liked the smell of gasoline, for some reason. The more recent version of Fahrenheit (this Parfum without the "Le" that can't be found anywhere) doesn't have that explosion of scents that I got used to in the older EDT version (in 2006 / 2007 that gasoline smell was still present) but it is excellent. It's not as fresh or versatile as the EDT version, but it is a remarkable perfume. The blend of ingredients (suede, rum, vanilla, violet leaf, etc.) is done exquisitely, and this scent exudes luxury from every pore.
It is one of my favorite perfumes, but it doesn't (totally) cure my nostalgia for the "original" Fahrenheit. The performance is outstanding in terms of projection and longevity (about 12 hours), and this scent is unlike any other on the market (that I know of), being worth the price it is sold for in most online stores (it is worth much more than the vast majority of niche perfumes I have tried so far). More than an excellent flanker, this perfume stands on its own. 5 stars!
