Duty free vacation flashback
As I waited for my flight to board, I decided to use the time in the duty free to look for a fresh fragrance for the upcoming warm season. After trying out a few testers, I strolled back towards the exit with little conviction.

But suddenly a banner caught my eye - a surfer dude with a board in his hand and the maritime suggestion as well as the word "Oud" in the title made me curious, although I had actually avoided the Tom Ford corner.

I sprayed the fragrance on my wrist anyway and was immediately transported to a moment when I stepped out of the air-conditioned plane in Croatia in summer. The sun was blinding, the warmth enveloped me and the breeze from the sea carried the scent of pine trees. I could almost hear the cicadas chirping.

I can't detect oud, at least not in its harsh or animalic version. However, it seems to give the fragrance a stable framework and a certain depth without pushing itself to the fore. Over time, the fragrance developed into an aquatic and greener note, the sea and the pine trees remained present but less austere than in the opening.
I could even detect some "profumo vibes" for myself. Still a classic among maritime freshies for me.

I was surprised at how well the fragrance still clung to my wrist after almost 8 hours, despite flights, hand washing and a workout in the hotel. There were much higher priced TF fragrances that did not perform like this.

I am sure that this fragrance can work well in the warmer months if you like something fresh yet tart. Keyword "profumo".
My first impression suggests that it also sticks well.

I will definitely test the fragrance more extensively.
