The early 2000s. JLo has her heyday. You see and hear her everywhere. TV, radio, movies, interviews, in love with Puff Daddy (now P.Diddy). She's the Latina, Miss Butt (can you even say that nowadays?!)
She knows how to dress (I remember the green Versace dress), knows how to behave, what to say when and how, can act, sing and dance. Everything is bling, bling and she can do everything. Hip hop combined with glamor. She was simply cool.

Well, I want to be a little JLO too. I also come from a "hot" neighborhood in Swabia. I already have good prerequisites.
Hair streaked, tanning beds, nylon trousers and baby blue or pink tops, large gold hoop earrings, shimmering lip gloss and now the most important thing: at least 7 sprays of "Glow | Jennifer Lopez". Sprayed everywhere, mind you. So that I can be smelled.

"Glow | Jennifer Lopez" simply smells clean. And glows. The silage was really good back then. It stayed with me for quite a long time, even when I was out of my JLO era.

For me, it belongs to the early 2000s.
I still wear it today when I want to feel "clean".
It's perfect for the start of spring, which is also the reason for writing a review.
Pure, clear and radiant.
Of course I no longer wear nylon pants, don't go to Soli and no longer have blonde highlights in my hair, but I have had "Glow | Jennifer Lopez" in my permanent collection for over 20 years.

She was beautiful.
She was well-groomed.
She had dark hair and green eyes.
She was tall and slim.
She was confident and tough.
She was successful.
She loved Aperol Spritz and sunsets in Spain.
She was socially committed and had an open ear for people.
She was a doer.
She was intelligent and quick-witted.
She was a gut person.
She loved the finer things in life.

She walked into the room and everyone was enchanted.
She had an intact family.
She had courage and ran a business.
She was open to new things.
She was compassionate and optimistic.
She was strong.
She loved to dance and share her joy with people.
She had a beautiful voice.
She was always dressed to the nines and had a soft spot for high heels.
She was vulnerable.
She was human and approachable.
She was my superior.
She was my female role model.
She was wonderful.
She wore "Body (Eau de Parfum) | Burberry"

She was only 53 years old...

i will forever associate "Body (Eau de Parfum) | Burberry" with her.
There are few people who leave their mark on your life. She is one of them as a female representative. She came into my life when I was still very young and at the beginning of my professional life. She was my first line manager. The year I left, she left too. It is bitter and hurts the heart when such special people are suddenly torn from life.

I once asked her what fragrance she was wearing, as it was very subtle.
She said she loved perfume, but didn't dare to wear more intense fragrances. but she liked "Body (Eau de Parfum) | Burberry".

She hasn't been around for three years now. I am left with memories and experiences and a fragrance that was hers.

There are fragrances that can be described better and also those where it doesn't work. Just like this one here.

When I hold the package in my hand, I am very excited and super curious to see what awaits me. It's a fragrance that divides opinion. I would love to tear open the box before I even get to the apartment.
I want to know what it smells like. Am I one of those who love it or will I reject it?

When I finally arrived upstairs, I dashed into my bedroom and onto my bed, literally tore the package apart and then I held it in my hand. The bottle that is about to give me the answer to my question.

After the first spray on my wrist, I am full of excitement and after a brief moment, something happens. A wonderful cool rose comes in its full splendor and I am enchanted. Then something medicinal joins in (I probably perceive the pepper that way) and a little later it becomes indefinable for me but I still like it.
I can't even get enough of it and want to bathe in it. He's like many in the forum have said. Cool and distant. Like Snow White lying in a bathtub full of ice-cold water with roses and ice crystals.
I'm terribly impressed, I've never smelled anything like it before and I'm spraying again. Should I order a bunker bottle right away? What if it is discontinued? Thoughts of madness are spreading.
The durability and silage could be stronger, then it would be truly perfect.

I also tested it on my husband and it is true that it develops differently on everyone. It smells sour on him and has nothing to do with the scent I smell on myself.

So is it love? YES definitely. I have chosen it as my new favorite with "Style | Jil Sander" and boldly claim that if I could only keep one fragrance, it would be this one.
