Old Swede, this is intense.... I have never worn a fragrance that is more on the nose than this one. In my opinion, it has very strong whiskey and leather associations. But you have to like that!
Because the fragrance is very, very concise and you should never use more than 2 sprays. The longevity is also very good, you still have something of it the next day, especially on your clothes!

What a jackpot!
Together with a friend on the streets of Budapest, I literally fell in love with this fragrance in a small niche perfumery. I sprayed it on my wrist as a sample and of course kept sniffing it for the rest of the day and just fell in love with it.
The first thing you notice is this very strong leather nose. With a slight sweetness, as the name Tonka already says.... In my opinion, it's an oud fragrance that doesn't smell so blatantly oudy, as it is nicely rounded off with the sweetness of the tonka bean.
My only negative point is the bottle, which is very cheap for all Montale fragrances.
I think the price-performance ratio is way up there. With 120-140€ for a niche fragrance, you are very well off and you have something that not everyone wears. An absolute buy recommendation at this price! The fragrance lasts me more than the whole day, even 1-2 sprays are enough... if I sprayed more, the environment would go crazy.
