Petit Matin starts very citrusy. But pleasant. If people always associate lemon with cleaners, they might do the same here. I don't have that association at all. The top note is really great. But what follows is even better. When the citrus notes die down a bit, the most wonderful creamy, floral musky base you can imagine comes through. Bright, fresh, absolutely addictive. It lasts forever on me - often all day and it can even survive a bath.

In my eyes, the fragrance is as unisex as it gets. I wouldn't call it a barbershop fragrance, as is often the case here. But it can be interpreted as masculine thanks to its light tartness and strong citrus notes, but just as feminine thanks to its musky, floral and creamy notes.

Probably more of a summer fragrance for most people, but I wear it all year round. Wonderful as a daytime fragrance, but I also like to wear it to sleep

If you are looking for something that is particularly artsy or eggy, Petit Matin is probably not the right fragrance for you. If you're looking for perfectly blended, supreme perfume artistry, you'll find one of the best citrusy, fresh, creamy, floral, unisex fragrances you can find. And now that the 35ml version is available, at a fair price.

...because of the enormous hype and Louis Vuitton's pricing policy, which I don't like. I also don't particularly like Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Eau de Parfum and initially transferred this to Imagination. But: I was proven wrong. Imagination really smells wonderful!

Fresh, airy, soft, doughy, citrusy, round. Not at all sharp or showery, as we know it from so many freshies. Tea and ginger are very easy to smell, as are the citrusy components. I may be wrong, but I also think I smell hedione, which makes the fragrance nice and airy and which I find great in many compositions. At times it has something of ginger ale about it, but in the most positive way.

Longevity is average, but okay for this fragrance category. The sillage is good.

I haven't worn it much on the outside yet, but I'm pretty sure that it will be talked about comparatively often and very positively. It is extremely likeable. Certainly also because it is somehow special in its few angularities.

Definitely predestined for spring and summer, but certainly always wearable, whether formal or casual and with absolute signature potential!

For quite some time now, I've been testing myself through various fragrances that are creamy in some way. There are usually three things that bother me: a coconut note (especially in sunscreen-like scents), too much fruitiness (like in "Musk Therapy | Initio" ) and too little unisexness. Whereby it does not matter to me with the latter whether it is marketed as a men's, women's or unisex fragrance. Merely on my personal impression. All three do not apply to 4.1 Le Musc & La Peau. He is different and I love him since the first spray!

He smells beautifully soft, creamy, very subtly salty and somehow also fresh. Like a second skin meets it already pretty good. However, I have not yet smelled an unperfumed "real" skin that smells so great. ;)

The shelf life is with me really okay - are already a few hours. A great sillage, however, you can not expect. Since I would like something more, but I perceive it as part of the composition. The Ambrox smells out, for me not disturbing, but should not be more. With Molecule 02 layer, as some do to improve H/S, would not be an option for me.

I find him not cheap, but price performance already ok. Have fortunately acquired one of the few souk offers for a bottle :).

Loud, far radiant, extreme H/S is yes somehow hip and is often considered a plus point in perfumes. All this is 4.1 Le Musc & La Peau not. It's intimate, skin deep, and most importantly for oneself and people who are (physically) relatively close to one. Would not be a candidate for me for a perfume for all occasions. At a concert, club or other events with many people you can save him. As an everyday, office or for-you-alone fragrance absolutely mega.
