More than the sum of its parts
Even though there are already many comments on it, I feel downright obliged to write down a little verbal kneeling to this beautiful composition.
In advance..... Whoever decides on this fantastic potpourri of exquisite oils must be clear about one thing....
Oud Satin Mood Extrait takes no prisoners!..
It doesn't bite because it swallows whole...
This fragrance is the mother of all sillage and durability monsters!

If a Gatling gun were a perfume... It would be Oud Satin Mood EDP. The extract would be another scoop and then it'd be like the czar bomb

I would go so far as to say..... For me the first 30min is almost unbearable. Unacceptable for wearer and environment!
Who does not know it as OSM Extrait Träger.... early in the car.... Without an open window, slight asphyxiation followed by panic attacks occur, so that this never goes away.
I'd call it "absolutely brutal" and that's already rounded off!

Very intrusive and flowery/biting, this fragrance begins its journey...
But when the wearer has survived the first "hard minutes", the scent becomes more bearable and with a little time even.... BEAUTIFUL!
From here on, you are royally rewarded for your starting pains.
Oud Satin Mood is the absolute compliment magnet.

I find it extremely difficult to smell out individual components here. A lot of flowery ones at first... maybe the geranium and the rose, but it takes a lot of imagination and distance.
In the "habitual zone" of the fragrance progression it remains constant, difficult to define, flowery beautiful.
In the end, the opulent bouquet of flowers is joined by something warmer, rounder, oud, ambry.
This "mixture" is fantastically composed and in my opinion this fragrance is incomparable.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian has created something unique here, with a lot of recognition value and wow effect.
Chapeau!!

For people who want to test it.... Do it and fall in love!

It is the absolute reference in terms of durability and silage. At this one I'm measuring the others!
Even after 2 hours in the pool I still smell it and on my clothes even above ground.

If you are a fan of flowery/oudig heavy Sillage references, you will love this one. Who does not like this, I recommend to test it anyway. This fragrance deserves it because it is more than the sum of its parts!... Wow!!

The bottle is Maison Francis Kurkdjian - typical.... square, practical, beautiful.

Many thanks to Master Kurkdjian for this creation and many thanks to you for reading

Greetings Stefan

A beautiful vetiver
I'm an avowed fan of vetiver... and a wood fan .... and an amber fan... and a rose fan .... Oh, well... Somehow everything that smells good is beautiful and this one meets 2 criteria of the introduction
"Vetiver" and "smells good"! :-)

The Vetyver/Cedre was a blind purchase, because I love vetiver + cedar and I should not be disappointed.
Roughly peeled over the radish, the scent doesn't have any exorbitant hooks, but is rather linear in my case.
In the best case he changes a little the "enamel" (of which he can't call much his own, by the way).
The whole thing should not sound negative under any circumstances!
It starts with dry green vetiver, hand in hand with beautiful coniferous woods and a few slightly fresh citrus notes.
The whole thing harmonizes really well and forms a nice felt/fabric and dry vetiver/wood combination.
Something flowery, oily or sweet is nowhere to be found in the complete course.
In the back the vetiver may be a little rounder and softer due to the benzoin and musk but it stays "fart dry" with me.
For me such vetiver's are always rather masculine but that is of course a matter of taste. I would at least think there are more feminine vetiver's like this one
All in all a successful scent that will still find its fans.
If you like e.g. Larmes Du Desert from Atelier Des Ors, you should try this one.

Shelf life and Sillage are OK to good and with approx. 5h once a day renewable.

The bottle is.... Well.... Made of glass with a label on it! :-)

Thanks to the perfumer and thanks to you for reading.
Kind regards Stefan

Good work mother
"Maleeh Al Aoud"... What a beautiful name I thought of..... And I should not be disappointed! As a newcomer in this profession, I ordered a small bottling of this wonder material and wanted to know.... "Is that what you always find so beautiful in various scents?" Is oud or aoud the salt in the soup of so many soups at the perfume market? So said... done... The small bottling is taken and a small mini-drop on the back of the hand. I cleared my senses and smelled my hand.... Hmmm.... "It's not that great! " was my first thought and for a moment I was a little disappointed. I thought.... "Geez, Stefan!... Did you sniff the varnish too much today? Why are your expectations not met here?".... Full of zest for action I borrowed my second hand from myself and rubbed the back of my hand on the back of my hand to get some air and warmth for the little oil drop and what opened up was.... DIVINE!
This is what a tear from Mother Nature must smell like! Wonderfully soft, round and warm, this symphony opens its sheet music in the tone "Rose".
I don't know where it comes from but I have scents of roses. Not this fresh of modern tea hybrids, but heavy, powdery and full of enamel as Rosa Damascena or better known as the Damascene rose is able to give. I love this fragrance! Intoxicating! .... sensual!... erotic!... seductive!... enchanting!... All these words describe Maleeh Al Aoud very well. After the rose I carefully add the oud. It is like a passionate dance of scents. In perfect harmony this ensemble plays on the keyboard of its olfactory possibilities. Nothing is exaggerated, nothing stands out, nothing "disturbs" in this symphony.
From beginning to end, this oil gives the impression of perfection. Consistently beautiful, consistently balanced, unobtrusive but intense enough. Those who like the high-quality, heavy, warm and oily Rose/Oud are in good hands here. For my feeling a wonderful winter scent which should not be missing in my collection. I call myself.... "proud owner" of mother nature's tears.
Shelf life and silage are great. I rub a drop on my wrist, then run it over my clothes from top to bottom and smell pleasant and unobtrusive all day long.
The flacon is beautifully crafted with attention to detail. A highlight in my collection.
Many thanks to Mother Nature, the perfumer and many thanks to you for reading
Kind regards Stefan

Wonderfully soft and harmonious woollen blanket made of vanilla and ambergris without ambergris
I have read here many beautiful and poetic comments on fragrances, which have taken me into an olfactory world full of feelings and sensations. Often these comments have enriched me and sharpened my senses. I am very grateful to this community for the possibilities and experiences! But now I had to decide which fragrance I would dedicate my first comment to and my decision was based on this one here.... AMBRA from Jeroboam.
I searched for a long time and had to accept some disappointments until I found this ambergris fragrance..... This ONE!! Ambergris..... (which I had always stored somewhere deep in the "olfactory memory" as "my dream ambergris")
i found. And one day, .... when the postman rang my doorbell with a bottling of another trial on the subject of "my dream ambra", I opened the letter, took out the bottling, SPRAYED a spray towards the back of my hand full of anticipation and even before the droplets could reach my skin, the scent molecules were in my nose and a feeling of bliss flowed around me. Yes!!!..... That was him!!... My dream-Ambra!! I was immediately and subconsciously overcome by a kind of "mini panic attack" ..... Let's hope the scent doesn't change its direction, as so many others do in the course of their short olfactory life. I smelled myself and just couldn't stop! Beautifully soft and balanced this scent spreads. It smells like a fabric shop (maybe a little bit of cashmere) next to a vanilla/tonka bean factory, in a former institute alley for businessmen with nice suits and caps. In a shop next to it, humid/warm woods and resins were processed!.... Not on dry fire but on steam! Five streets away there is a deposit for patchouli and incense which still slightly impregnates the steam of the wood processing. In my opinion this scent is in almost perfect balance if you like sweetish scents. For me the scent has no obtrusive "gourmand", but rather a heavy, deep, creamy consistency in the nose. In the whole process I could not detect any disturbing notes that could somehow get in the way of my love. Balanced and harmonious, this fragrance dances its time on my skin and leads me to feelings of happiness. I think you have to be a little bit made for this fragrance! .... Its wearer must reflect it in some way. I for my part BIN Ambergris of Jeroboam and have found in it my "dream ambergris". I give the fragrance 9 points because there will always be something better at some point and air should remain upwards. With the Monster Reference in terms of Sillage/Durability (Oud Satin Mood Extrait) I give Ambra a rating in the upper third. Smells long and sufficiently intense. ??
Thanks to the perfumer for this wonderful fragrance and thanks to you for reading.
Kind regards.... Stefan
