A Tropical Coconut Scent
I purchased the scent almost two years ago, and I had to let it marinate for at least 6 months to get it to where it is today. The scent is heavy with coconut, followed by Jasmine and Orange Blossom, which will show up more on the dry down. This is a tropical spring/summer scent, so if you don't like coconut, this isn't for you.
Nice Daytime Scent
I purchased Marfa by Memo Paris several years ago. It's a beautiful Tuberose fragrance that's safe for the office. The fragrance has gentle hints of ylang ylang, which is more sophisticated than old lady, and is also present. The dry-down is the scent of musk. I would classify this fragrance as quite elegant.
Gris Charnel Spring /Summer addition.
This scent would be if BDK did a Gris Charnel version for Spring/Summer, this would be it. Cardamom, Orange, coconut, and spice make this a beautiful scent. I'm so glad I purchased a bottle last spring. It gets better with age as well, after a year of maceration, the fragrance is deeper. I would wear this fragrance anytime in the spring, and summer for a date, shopping, wedding or brunch.
A spring/ Summer Wedding scent
This is a beautiful, scent for a wedding, that's bubbly and floral. This is great for a warm-weather bridal shower, brunch, or baby shower, and just enough, too heavy. What I don't like is the size of the bottle, and that it's a limited release. My favorite is Vanilla 28, and I plan to purchase the large size of The Wedding Silk Santal when it becomes available.
A beautiful Winter Tea Scent
This is a beautiful, Fall/Winter scent, that is so cozy. I wear it with Kayali Vanilla 28 and a sweet, sensual, and citrus scent. It's expensive, but I get my money's worth out of it. In the end, I highly recommend this scent. Tea fragrances are so underrated, and it's a shame. The other tea fragrance I highly recommend is African Roobolis by Chris Collins.
