I have been following Felice for years on Instagram and YouTube, and I noticed back then how much he loves the Marzocco, which he associates with his childhood mostly spent in Italy. When I first saw a yellow Kinetic bottle in one of his Instagram posts over a year ago, and he mentioned that he was working on a fragrance together with Kinetic and Chris Carbonell, I immediately knew that this fragrance would capture the typical Italian vacation feelings - and he really nailed it fabulously.

I'm not a big fan of blind buys because I've often been disappointed. Just thinking about Interlude Man 53 or the MV Agusta makes me tell myself again and again - Sebi, just stay away from these blind buys. They are simply way too expensive now. But Felice has recommended so many fragrances to me that I didn't know before, and he always hit my taste perfectly. That's why I knew I had to order Tulua blind. Especially since Feli has become a very good friend of mine, and I like to support him in everything he does. He puts so much joy and passion into this business.

And what can I say? He hit the nail on the head. If you've never been to Italy and wonder what it smells like there, you just have to wear this fragrance. Tulua feels like a summer day in Italy. The first sprays smell of fresh lemons and mandarins, as if a light breeze is blowing in from the sea. Then it becomes creamier - a buttermilk-lemon ice cream note comes through, pleasantly sweet but not too heavy. Over time, the warm notes of amber and wood unfold, like the last rays of sunshine in the evening. I've never smelled such a combination before - the blend of freshness, creaminess, and warm depth is just harmonious. The fragrance surprised me immediately and evoked a real summer feeling.

The longevity and sillage are also above average for me. I definitely perceive it for 8 hours. It's not a beast mode fragrance, but that fits perfectly with this scent DNA. The bright yellow bottle is a real eye-catcher and stands out in any perfume collection. This summer, I will definitely reach for Tulua a hell of a lot.

In my last order from Duftbunker, Felice made the scent of Noa Noa so appealing with an included sample that I had to get it as a bottle. Thank you once again for that.

Now to the fragrance:

For me, this scent falls into the summery-exotic category. The sweet, very orange citrus top note is my personal highlight and feels absolutely natural, without those annoying toilet freshener vibes.

As the top note gradually transitions into the heart note, a subtle floral quality emerges, which then blends with dreamy vanilla and musk in the base note.

The fragrance feels extremely high-quality throughout and doesn’t need to hide behind any niche scent. It is absolutely premium, long-lasting (on me, the scent lasts a good 8 hours), and has only conveyed positive vibes so far - whether in the form of compliments or simply as a feel-good scent.

For me, this is the summer fragrance of 2024.
