A Brother from another mother
It's really nice.
Coffee scents aren't really my thing, but here you almost have to search for the coffee, it's so subtle.
It has that typically classic DNA that generally reminds me of Clive Christian.
While it's not directly similar to Hedonistic, it is crafted in such a way that they seem like half-brothers (if that makes any sense). It's hard to put into words. The scent is slightly floral (though 'floral' would be an exaggeration), possesses an incredibly wonderful depth in its profile, and is also pleasantly creamy and very elegant. Fantastic drydown!

Thanks to Ataullah for the souk, it worked out great!

Fate wanted it this way…
A few weeks ago, I went to my trusted perfumery to test a few Amouage fragrances; mainly because of the hype surrounding Outlands, I was there. I took three samples with me: Timber, Outlands, and Decision. However, when I sprayed, I missed the blotter, and a bit of Purpose 50 ended up on my skin and a little on my jacket (minimal). Initially, I was put off by the scent on the paper and disposed of it.
Unbeknownst to me, I drove home, and of all the fragrances I had sprayed, it felt like only one accompanied me: Purpose 50. It lasted and delivered, without me expecting or even thinking that I could like this scent. Days went by, it was freezing outside, and I kept smelling it on the sleeve of my jacket - simply incredible, this perfume!
So I had to buy it, along with Outlands and Decision.
The scent starts off incredibly strong with its spices, the incense, and a touch of green, which visually fits very well. It becomes creamier, rounder, and simultaneously feels like a luxurious soap that you smell for the first time, because where can you find such a wonderfully scented soap? It’s simply addictive, and it brings immense joy to wear it.
It pushes you and gives you the right attitude. Since then, it has been my number one.
