I was recently in the Müller around the corner and was surprised to see the Zanzibar from Lattafa. Unfortunately there was no tester available but as it is quite cheap I thought it would be another blind buy. I arrived home and the first spray was a surprise. I was expecting something different like aquatic notes, but instead a combination of fruit, fresh salty breeze, dry coconut and powdery iris. It really is something I've never smelled before. It was like a warm summer day on a quiet beach enjoying a fresh coconut. In the base, the scent becomes deeper and woodier. With prolonged wear on the skin, I smelled a light, unobtrusive sweetness like vanilla and warm sandalwood. But what left the biggest impression on me was the incense. I couldn't help but notice that the longer I had it on my skin, the more it smelled like a nice lemon cake, which works really well in summer in my eyes. I can imagine it perfectly on a warm spring or summer day, but also on a cooler day when you want to spray a little vacation on your skin. It is fresh, creamy and woody at the same time and is incredibly versatile. A clear recommendation for me.

I discovered Davidoff Cool Water Elixir today on my regular Douglas tour. And what can I say, when I saw the fragrance notes I had to take a sniff. I was so enthusiastic about it that I brought a bottle with me. For me, it is a successful evolution of the classic. It offers an interesting combination of freshness, warmth and a modern sweetness that makes it an appealing and versatile fragrance. Definitely an elegant outgoing fragrance. If you like the original but are looking for a warmer, slightly sweeter version, you should definitely give this fragrance a try.

I got hooked by YouTube and the really low price and bought Shaghaf Oud online. And what can I say, it really impressed me. The combination of oud, vanilla, roses and chocolates creates a unique and luxurious fragrance experience that is both strong and balanced. I saw this fragrance on a drugstore tour in fall 2023. As I like to test my way through the cheaper fragrances, I sprayed it on and let it take effect. The first thought was wow with its sweet-spicy fragrance composition, it is both invigorating and calming. The base of vanilla, amberwood and guaiac wood gives the perfume a warm depth. It is said that this fragrance is similar to "Armani Stronger with you". I can say that it reminded me of it in the opening. But I also think that it has its own DNA that makes it stand out. But let's get back to it: the longevity is remarkable, with a presence that lasts for several hours. The sillage is strong enough to be noticed without being overwhelming.
The price-performance ratio of Heroic Man is excellent. I can fully recommend this fragrance from my side.
