Serge

El Attarine - a distinctly oriental fragrance and an unmistakable Serge Lutens (or more precisely, Christopher Sheldrake). On my skin, it starts off smoky and spicy. Additionally, I clearly smell almonds in the opening (???). Could it be due to my own skin scent? In any case, I smell sweet, smoky almonds and cumin, very intense and overpowering.

The heart note becomes softer, sweeter, and more powdery, but still carries the scent of almonds (or are the dried apricots coming to the forefront?). Only now does it slightly remind me of Arabie - an oriental blend of spices, dried fruits, and flowers.

Only after an hour does the intensity of the oriental opulence fade, leaving a trace, a blurred memory of the world of Scheherazade.

The longevity is, as with most Lutens fragrances, extremely long. Although I no longer perceive it after a while, my surroundings comment on it.

I can hardly perceive L´Humaniste on my skin. It is a light, fresh, slightly "powdered" lemon with a hint of pleasant warmth. Overall, it is a suitable, understated scent from a freshly showered body. What more could one want? ;)

"Would you suggest something extraordinary to me?" - It was just a question - for me a key to the world of niche fragrances. The saleswoman took out a golden box. "Oriental," I thought. Once sprayed on my wrist - "here please, but give it time." ... "Hmm... It is more than extraordinary, it is ..., it is ..., it is MINE." How long have I been searching for such a scent? - harmonious, luxurious, very warm, floral, powdery, somewhat dominant and definitely unmistakable - simply ROYAL for me - a fragrance for special occasions, a respite from everyday life, a disappearance into the world of the Orient, a rise above the hustle and bustle of professional life. In one thing, I have to agree with Leecher88. Amouage Gold is not a fragrance for men ... not for those who are into Playboy and Axe, who always try to conform to the cliché of "typically masculine" and divide the world into "black" or "white." The Amouage Gold cannot be pigeonholed into narrow drawers.

Bigarade Concentrée - a touch of tenderness - very subtle, restrained flowers, a sea of flowers, far away, quiet and light, like the aftertaste of a long-lasting kiss from a made-up woman: slightly powdery, a bit sweet, very sensual and simply unforgettable ...

It all starts with the name - Lys - and the lily spreads its enchanting aura over me.
Already after the first spray, I am enveloped by the scent of a ripe, wonderful lily, perhaps a slightly "powdery" lily.

This fragrance accompanies me throughout the entire day. What longevity!!! I can still smell it in the afternoon and late evening. A pleasant and calming aura surrounds me all day long. I must say that I really like this special scent of lilies.

I also wore Lys Méditerranée at night and was gently awakened the next morning by a light hint of "lily warmth." No other "night fragrances" have lasted this long for me.
