Sweet dream
This was my first Tom Ford fragrance ever. I would best describe this perfume as oriental sweet.
The opening is slightly fruity and spicy and after the drydown a gourmand sweet dream. For me, vanilla and amber are the notes that stand out the most. You don't notice that there are floral components in the heart notes.
This is one of those fragrances that can inspire anyone when applied discreetly.
I wore it in winter when the air was cool and dry. In my opinion, this is when the fragrance can unfold its full potential. The sillage and longevity are tremendous. When I applied the perfume in the morning, it was still noticeable even after showering.
I can recommend this fragrance to anyone who likes spicy, sweet scents and I'm already looking forward to wearing it again in winter.

Leather or wall paint?
This fragrance was highly recommended to me and since I already knew a few Tom Ford fragrances, I went to the nearest Douglas store and gave it a sniff. The first thing I noticed was that you could smell leather straight away. However, there was also a note that I didn't find particularly pleasant. I had the fragrance applied and wore it on a trial basis in the hope that the rest would develop. Strangely enough, I didn't even notice any fruity notes. After drydown, it smelled very chemical and reminded me strongly of wall paint. I couldn't perceive the leathery woody notes at all. I still left it on my neck and wrist and the scent lasted for 6 hours, which is fine.
It may well be that my skin chemistry is simply not compatible with this fragrance. Unfortunately a disappointment for me

Fruit cocktail? Yes please!
After I had the afternoon swim from LV, I wasn't quite taken with the fruity fresh scents. They have too much of a deodorant feel, which I don't like.
BUT: Erba pura does everything right. I immediately fell in love with this fragrance. It is intensely fruity and fresh and the amber musk and vanilla give it a full body that transforms the fruit basket into a very tasty fruit cake. The fragrance is not intrusive and the citrus notes are not heavy.
The fragrance is at its best in spring. Since I discovered it, Chanel allure Sport extreme and Erba pura have been fighting a fierce battle over who gets to wear it. Longevity and sillage are absolutely great. There is still room for improvement, but there (almost) always is.

Love-hate relationship
The title says it all. As it is a very expensive exclusive fragrance, I got myself a 5ml bottle and tested it extensively in the summer. What can I say. After the first spray, it's a fruit salad. Aquatic, fruity and a subtle freshness. Ok, I thought to myself, this is the opening, let's see what else is to come. In fact, there wasn't much more. It remains relatively identical from the first spray to the drydown. At first I thought to myself, that's all there is to it? On the other hand, I found myself feeling refreshed on a few days in the hot and humid summer. So why the love-hate relationship? There were days when I couldn't smell it because it reminded me a lot of deodorants from the 2000s. But then there were other days when it surprised me in a very positive way. The shelf life was very poor at 3-4 hours. The sillage was great, but the fact that the fragrance doesn't last long is a downgrade. I couldn't imagine buying the whole bottle at the moment. But recommended for a summer experience

Spring miracle
Where to begin. Every year, as soon as the first rays of sunshine herald the arrival of spring and the first buds come out, the scent returns from the drawer to the dresser.
I received it as a gift in 2016 and have been using it ever since. Tangy, fruity and spicy. That's the best way to describe it. The opening is fruity and drifts further and further into tangy and spicy. Sandalwood is clearly perceptible and as soon as the base notes are there, the fragrance really is at its best.
As soon as the bottle is empty (or if it ever runs out, although I spray very often in spring), I will buy a new 100ml bottle
