Summer in a bottle
Blind bought this fragrance last summer as a birthday present for myself.
The presentation is amazing, but oh well it’s Louis Vuitton so not a surprise.
The fragrances arrives in the classic LV orange box, and inside there is another round box, which is where the fragrances is.
First of all, the bottle design is amazing: simple, but you can see the quality by the small details.
The bottle has this light blue gradient that is a bit lighter on the top and darker on the bottom.
The cap is metal and it’s also magnetic, which I find as a very nice detail.
Talking about the fragrance, it’s a very fresh orange/citrus that doesn’t really change throughout its duration.
That doesn’t mean that it’s a bad fragrance, on the contrary I find it a very nice one but to be worn only in summer, as it gives that “day at the beach with your friends” vibe.
Given the nature of the notes, it doesn’t last long at all, probably 4/5 hours at best so I suggest to get a travel atomizer to reapply it during the day.
I consider it a little overpriced for what it is, but it’s for sure a quality fragrance.

Fantastic surprise, just wait after the opening
Honestly, when I first sprayed it I wasn’t very satisfied; the opening is harsh, with this strong lemon zest note.
But, as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover!
After a few minutes the lemon note settles down and it reveals a very sweet and likeable fragrance.
You can smell the vanilla, a very nice vanilla and not a synthetic one, mixed with some sugar and lemon.
I dare to say, it is similar to Profumum Roma Dulcis in Fundo (one of my favorite fragrance, if you like sweet and vanilla scents I suggest to try it).
It lasts enough to be smelled through the day, obviously on clothes you can smell it even after a day.
In my opinion, it’s a very nice gourmand and it’s not really citrus centered.
The bottle design is average, nothing too special and also the text on it is - sadly - easily scratchable.
