It is possible that one is actually influenced by the sonorous name and curiosity is aroused. But in my case, my expectations were by no means disappointed, rather exceeded.

What a sensual iris, jasmine and orange blossom fragrance! It is not too heavy and wintery, it can be worn well in spring and on summer evenings. Very feminine, noble, seductive. This fragrance is definitely worthy of a queen.

I like it very much. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any bottles left. Hopefully you can still buy it somewhere. I need the full-size bottle soon.

40 Knots really is one of the strongest aquatic fragrances I have had the pleasure of getting to know. When you close your eyes, all you can smell is the open, wide sea. Subliminally, a slight spiciness comes through, comparable to the wood on a sailing yacht. It is by no means a gentle aquatic, but a stormy, wild one that shouts 'here I am'. It reminds me like no other of my love of the sea, and of childhood dreams of a pirate life like in old Hollywood movies. Wonderful.
I really like it and will probably add it to my perfume collection soon.
