Soapy-Musky Invigorating "Leather" - Weird Combo.
I can stand behind the idea of this fragrance, as it seems to make a good combo, theoretically speaking. In reality, however, what results is a very weird fragrance. It's not bad by any means, don't get me wrong, but if you're going into this thinking it's the same kind of leather in Tuscan Leather or Ombre Leather by Tom Ford, you'd be highly mistaken.

The leather here is freshened up by notes of orange blossom (Think Neroli Portofino), along with woody-ambery aspects from Labdanum & Musk. The result is a "soapy" feel to the fragrance similar to that in Prada's Amber Pour Homme.

It's very soapy and floral. I can smell more patchouli than leather, and calling this "Mon Cuir" where leather is basically the last thing you can pick up is a tragedy.

It's good, I would wear this until my sample runs out. Is it full-bottle worthy? Absolutely not.
What a weird combination.

A disaster full of roses...
Creating a nice rose fragrance is no easy task, I get it. You can have THE most expensive and THE most high-quality ingredients on this earth and still screw up a rose creation.

This is exactly what has happened here; you can tell that this fragrance uses (atleast partly) high quality ingredients, but the blend is absolutely horrendous. With all due respect to Jordi Magrans, but please stay away from the note of rose and leave it to the guys who do it best.

This fragrance opens up with floor-cleaner sort of rose, followed by a green aspect (probably coming from the green tea, geranium, and lavender) that develops into anything but something that you could spray on yourself.

Definitely not unique, and definitely not well-balanced. 249 euros for this? Hard pass.

Headache-inducing disaster full of roses...

Nothing short of amazing.
I'd like to start my review by saying that this fragrance is not for the faint of heart. It has a smoky aspect like no other, and is only for mature noses who would like something unique.

The fragrance opens up with the smell of a fresh, unlit cigar. The tobacco note here is just spectacular, along with a minute hint of "sweetness" from the styrax. The tobacco stays throughout the fragrance, with woody notes coming up shortly after. The smoky aspect of the fragrance I believe comes from the Guaiac wood, and is truly divine.

This fragrance is extremely well blended. It can be worn by either men or women, and therefore is completely unisex in my opinion, while some may find it to lean a little bit masculine. I'd say a woman who is charismatic enough can pull this off no problem.

If you have a strong personality that you can pull off Coco Noir by Chanel, then you can pull this one off, too. It's not for the faint of heart, though, as I previously mentioned.

I adore this creation. I truly do. I'm not particularly sure if the flakes inside the bottle are real gold or not, but they sure do give you a feeling of luxury and add to the presentation. The cap is full metal, and is super heavy. I feel that over time, as I wear this, and the juice level gets lower, that this bottle might get top-heavy and start to tip over easily. This is how heavy the cap is! xD

The plaque on the front is also metal, and is both inlayed and glued onto the bottle. The back of the bottle has some engravings on it, so you won't see the glue gluing the front plaque on (this has long frustrated me with some bottles as it might look kinda cheap, but it's not the case here).

Bois Sikar by Atelier des Ors. A masterpiece. A fragrance I'd enjoy for years to come.
Bois Sikar - A Smokey, Whiskey, Cigar-ry fragrance. Would definitely recommend.

Great perfume, but a try-hard copy of Aventus
Don't get me wrong. This is not a bad perfume by any means. As a matter of fact, it is extremely good and fresh. Freshly sprayed, it smells like the 20-mins dry-down of Aventus. Hence, if you are expecting this juice to be the same as Aventus but for 1/5th the price, don't buy it. It has almost no pineapple vibe that Aventus has. If I hadn't known Aventus existed, or haven't smelt it at all, then this would be awesome. However, since I have both, i definitely prefer the Aventus.

Projection is definitely average. It is nothing spectacular, and sometimes, if my father wears it, I can even barely smell it on him. It is very very light.

Durability is nowhere to be found. It doesn't last 4 hours. By the 4 hour mark, the fragrance is almost 100% gone. I would compare its durability and "staying power" to that of the original Armani Code by Giorgio Armani.

What must be said is that this perfume is a great buy, highlighted by the fact that it is relatively cheap.
However, sometimes, i feel like i smell like pure dust when the fragrance is 3hrs old. You know that dust smell that you get in your house if you haven't swept for some time? It can smell like that sometimes. It just does not use ingredients of extremely high quality, but not ones that are bad, either.

Smell: 7/10
Durability: 5/10
Sillage: 5/10

Would I buy this again? Yes.
Is it worth it? Absolutely.
Aventus or this? Aventus all day.
