Smells almost one for one of Quattro Pizzi.

I smelled it, thought, smelled again, thought… It just smelled so familiar.

Finally, 10mins before writing this, it hit me. I looked up Quattro Pizzi and, sure enough, they share a LOT of the same notes. If not all lol

The only preliminary take i can offer is Quattro Pizzi smells better quality.

I couldn’t get a sample of it due to them not having any in stock, but i have a sample of Quattro Pizzi and as soon as i get home i will be pulling it out.

Initial impressions: wowed. I went in thinking this would be a loud pink with white frills and tiara wearing bomb. Not only was i wrong, but, weather permitting, I will try to wear this tomorrow. I will be reporting back from my first full and proper wearing. But, woowwww…

This is good and i will be picking this up at some point.

This is a hyper-floral tinged with an aquatic vibe.

On paper, this should NOT work for men. But, despite the notes, this is quite stunning on men (me).

I would reach for this Spring and early Fall.

If you like fragrances like Accento, this is in that realm. With this, however, I would say it’s more elegant and doesn’t have the sharp citric elements of Accento.

The pear note in here is GORGEOUS and really adds to the uniqueness of it. Although, thanks to the iris, accompanied by the tuberose, some may think: detergent.

Trust me, it’s not. Check it out. HIGHLY recommended.

My second most complimented scent, ever. Second only to Versace Pour Homme. Go figure.

With that, no lie, i had random women complimenting me.

Once, early in the morning, while on my way to work, a woman emphatically uttered: “You smell divine!”. Nothing since has garnered that many compliments or that type of reaction.

This happened when it first was released, as I’ve always purchased different smelling things and got it in the latest and greatest.

Declaration Parfum, on the other hand, is no slouch either. Albeit, i haven’t worn this in years.

I wore this one night and had this extra bad woman at Barneys NYC’s fragrance section (i LIVED in that place) say, also emphatically: “what IS that???” with this infatuated, dreamy eyed, look.

Remember, this while in, at the time, the purveyors of the most niche offerings in NYC (more than Bk’s Twisted Lily’s, the old Oswald’s and MiN NYC.).

You can imagine how wonderful that area smelled and she singled me out (the 5 or so sprays i was wearing [] certainly played a role, too). Although, once i told her it was from Cartier, this look of embarrassment came over her face. Undoubtedly a niche snob

Any how, Cartier’s best mainstream offering in my estimate.

If you’re a blazer and designer jeans wearing guy, 45 and up, and need a fall and winter signature, this is it. Or, if you’re a graying, deep orange silk jumpsuit wearing guy, with a V-12 powered Bugatti, then, yes, this is for you, too — ‘cept this guy can wear it in the dead of summer if he wanted.

Class or decadent crass, this is your scent.

My bottle has become nuclear, so i only spray twice in fall or winter. Lol

This and Spice and Woods are my favorite creeds.

Side note:
Instead of wasting their time with these variations of Aventus, Creed should release a Middle East exclusive of Royal Oud. In it, put real, noticeable, amounts of oud and watch it fly off the shelves.

Just make the overall composition super high quality and, no matter what the price tag says, watch it FLY off the shelves.

Just my two cents…

I went to the boutique and grabbed a sample of this. Got home, sprayed it once, and came to the conclusion it is just a nice smelling, mass appealing, modern fragrance.

Albeit well constructed, it does NOT smell niche.

I would like to smell this on someone else to see if i would have a more elaborate appraisal of it.

If my opinion changes, I’ll be back.
