Brun is said to be a go-getter. Headstrong. Impetuous. According to the commercial text!
What do we get: a warm, cuddly "amber fragrance" with woody, smoky accents. Wow!
My girlfriend loves wearing it as much as I do - and it fits.
Not loud but relatively long-lasting.
Little projection, but clearly recognizable in the trail or sillage.
The opening is spicy, resinous and sweet with a certain smokiness. By no means opulent but very finely tuned. In my opinion, the progression is quite simple and after about 1 hour Brun is already wonderfully creamy.
A vanilla oud (very tame) paired with shallow amber notes. Plus nutty woods. Simply a warm, cuddly fragrance that can also be worn elegantly!
The current statements are somewhat confusing in my opinion. There's everything from fresh to floral and oud. Because it's not fresh. Light but not fresh. Floral only minimally. And OUD ... well, really only as a player.

Packaging is solid. Beautiful box with velvet leather etc. Brown inside (Brun = brown) but the bottle ...guys what can I say. It's bad hahaha. Sunflower yellow and in velvet like Erba Pura. Well. Eyes closed and through, because the contents are great.

From the ingredients you certainly do not get smart, so many herbs, plants, etc. The first spray reveals the secret!
In the opening gibts here no fruit. One knows otherwise pineapple or the like, but here we start very citrusy and herbaceous. This works immensely refreshing.
In general, Esencia is not really sweet and very adult. No synthetics as with other alternatives.
I could compare it to an aventus from 2017 and the birch note is nicely replicated here. In my humble nose I would certify similarity to 89%
The Leo is a bit peculiar after all, so I felt it was almost too herbaceous for me and had a "ham" note. However, this association only came about in comparison with much sweeter fragrances and is probably more of an irritation.
So we have a citrusy herbaceous opening. Spice comes right in and creates an adult feeling. No fragrance for teens. After 1-2 hours we have a great and very aventus similar sillage developed. Sophisticated and masculine. No need to describe individual fragrance notes here. The mixture is super - nothing that disturbs.
Of all the alternatives I have tested, the lion is the adult.
