Amber Anise Tarragon Wood Powder
Strategic, conceptual, substantial, headstrong, retrospective, futuristic, intellectual, chic, creative, erotic, controversial, disciplined, selfish, German and a little bit perverse - Karl Lagerfeld ( Classic ). A lot of attributes for a lot of fragrance.

Steal fom some of the best of a whole century: Armani Classic/Azzaro pH (Herbs, Orange, Spices, Flowers, Aldehydes, Anise, Amber), Knize Ten/ Trumper Spanish Leather (Gasoline, Indol, Wood, Leather, Sandal), Royal Copenhagen/Jovan Musk (Powder, Honey, Iris). I find all these scents in KLC, which was also able to create something absolutely independent out of them. There are many excellent scents that are classy. And there are many outstanding fragrances that are sexy, but I don't know anyone who likes to combine both so iconic.
I personally like the Interparfum Edit (I don't smell synthetic) better than the original. This brings the herb, anise, amber aspect more into the foreground and still retains the original vibe fully. Except for the oak moss, that is gone, which seems to me a bit old-fashioned and rough, but also kept the sweetness nicely in check here, which is now a little more pronounced due to the omission. It's certainly due to my personal preference, but KLC is for me one of the most provocative fragrances for ladies I know.
But I had to go through half a century to discover it for myself, sometimes, or very rarely, he needs his certain moments.
If KL had been a rather unknown niche designer, this perfume would be considered one of the most obscure today. In contrast, even Salvador Dali pH is rather unobtrusive.
His, respectively Lagerfeld's corresponding overpopularity in the eighties has, I think, damaged the scent very much.
PS: Dosage is everything here. Two shallow sprays are just right, super classy, dry, magnetic, sexy and chic. Every quantum beyond that seems vulgar (downright stupid), gelatinized and oily (Opoponax, Tonka) - keyword: the greasy taxi driver.
I don't know any stronger EDT than KLC and I know a few - it's strong like a perfume Concentree.

Mr. Gray,
the carriage is waiting. A classic dandy romantic night out/dinner scent with strong references to GB Grey Flannel and Boucheron Jaipur. I'd even go so far as to say you mixed them both 1:1. Thus the strong herbal aspect of GF is omitted and the for me too strong heliotropin content of BJ was replaced by tonalid and ambroxan, something musky. A little galbanum, which remains with GF, I can't even see Takak. It is light and clean yes, but absolutely room-filling. It is intoxicating - opera ball scenes can come to mind. I gave it 2x mini sprays on a paper and the next day I noticed it clearly in the room, so be careful when applying it. When overdosed, I think it becomes very strange, or almost strange. With a fine dosage, a fragrance for dreamers and melancholiacs that goes a little into the high ground without a hint of darkness and yet is wearable. There can be no question of synthetics or surpluses imho, it is the dosage that makes the poison.
Strangely enough, it smells very different on fabric (clothing) than on skin. Not only does it retain its freshness for a long time, which would still be normal, but it also has a flowery (dry dusty flowers) and minimally herbaceous direction, while the tonal and talcum spread exceptionally on the skin.
All in all: For me a light musk fragrance.
Occasions: None, except Rendevouz/Dinner/Operaball.

Quintessence of the
out of the 80s or early 90s. This is how the whole old town of Ibiza smelled at 1 o'clock in the morning around 1990 ... A slightly less spicy Aramis Tuscany, less anise, more cedar, with underlaid Badedas flavour ( Fir ) and not synthetic at all - that's laurel instead of tarragon that smells like that. So less after kitchen and more after club. Zero old-fashioned, pleasantly reserved and yet beautifully present the whole. Not really old school gentleman, more of a discreet night cruiser. With all its simplicity - although the completely confused beginning - and portability (also office) I get this soap/anise/cedar/fir note, which really captivates you and remains strongly in your memory and is also a little bit kinky. Purchase price: 1/12 Aventus hahaha ..

Green Magic Powder,
a rather dynamic fresh scent due to cardamom and pepper, which is perfectly balanced in the interaction citrus-spice musk/powder and even the minimal synthetic note is very suitable.
The fragrance is definitely Italian and modern, if there were not such a fine and fascinating green old-fashioned powder note, perfectly orchestrated by slightly oriental spices and galbanum, resonating. This powder note is one that strongly reminds me of Mediterranean 50-60s EDC or good Italian lemon soap.
Everything is so discreet, especially the citric part, unobtrusive and yet magically interwoven, that I am very astonished to have found something like this under Automobile/Drugstore Fragrances.
A really excellent, green foggy, slightly salty freshness - or summer scent (no sports scent!) with well proportioned oldfashion powder element, which doesn't radiate very much, but keeps lasting on the skin.
Buy recommendation !

Nobility in a whorehouse,
at the beginning green light, feminine floral, Dandy Musk with fat oak moss corners. Very interesting and equally well proportioned. Very clean, a little sultry, with a little dirty impact. Like I said, very interesting. Becomes better and better at the end and darker male. A fragrance that will surely be noticed
