A truly beautiful oud fragrance!

Still no comment? Then it's time, because I would find it extremely unfortunate, this fragrance would be overlooked!

I have put me "Oud Mosaic" by Banana Republic due to positive reviews of some perfume-You Tuber. There was talk of an "easily portable" oud fragrance. In addition, the interesting combination with rose and the similarity to "Oud Ispahan" by Christian Dior was pointed out, for which one would have to put easily 350 euros on the table of the house.
To the similarity with "Oud Ispahan" I can say nothing further, since I have never smelled this perfume, but my Blindbuy I have in any case not regretted. It is "Oud Mosaic" a really fascinating perfume. At first smell still something that takes getting used to, it beats you in no time in its spell.
Oud is often described as "mystical", which is actually not a real description of a fragrance in the strict sense, but nevertheless also typifies the scent of this perfume more or less well. Oriental mysticism, smoke, rose, a lot of plum, the latter somewhat alcoholic fermented, so I would want to describe the smell most likely. In the beginning, the fruitiness of the angeboozten plum predominates, as I find, the rose I smell at first not so much out, it becomes more floral later, however, until the orientalism of the oud and the spices prevails more and more. Overall, a scent progression that tempts again and again to hinriechen, which for me, among other things, is a main criterion of a good perfume.

In addition, the sillage and especially the durability is outstanding. My first test sprays in the crook of my arm I could still clearly smell the next day after showering [!]!
Addendum: On clothes he seems to hold forever ...!

Fascinating, different, dark, lovely, strange, mysterious, noble and sexy, all this is he, this fragrance. In addition, absolutely high-quality, with beastly performance, coming in a simple but valuable bottle, and all this even at a fairly low price...

A touch of Corfu

Anyone who has ever stayed on the Greek island of Corfu will not have escaped two things: Empress Sissi and the Kumquat. This fruit, also known as dwarf orange, is not a citrus fruit, but it has the same fragrance.
I personally fell in love with this fragrance (and taste) on that very island, and when I later realized that a perfume actually existed in this scent, the joy was great.
And I was not disappointed. Uomo? smells like a walk through a Corfiot kumquat grove. I must confess, I can hardly get enough of that smell, it's so delicious. I also don't understand why, with all the bergamot, orange, madarine and lime, the perfume industry pays little attention to this scent. For me personally, the fragrance of this fruit is unbeatable.
This would then also describe Moschino's Uomo? as far as possible, because much more than kumquat does not really stand out in this - unfortunately not too long-lasting - fragrance. Maybe a little cinnamon here, a little sage there; in the drydown then an amber-musk mix. But in the main thing: Kumquat - and that is a good thing!

A powerhouse with gentle nuances

Since I am a fan of Baldessarini's "Ambré", and I read that this Bentley should smell similar, it was ordered straight away!
And I have to say, disappointment really looks different. This fragrance will knock you out from the first spray, it is so strong and masculine. But the beautiful and, in my opinion, special thing about this fragrance is that it does not remain in its masculine ostentation, but that it develops a particularly beautiful fragrance after a very short time. You almost think you perceive a different note every few minutes. Beginning with the initially strong rum smell, over the most diverse spice notes in the further course up to ever softer and more balsamic nuances of wood and smoke, which finally remain perceptible for an extremely long time
A, as I think, more than successful perfume, which suits every man who wants to appear more masuline. Only those who have a problem with the smell of alcohol should keep their hands off it, because it is already extreme in the beginning.
Nathalie Lorson, who is already responsible for the fantastic "Encré Noir" line, has once again created a great fragrance that can easily compete with niche fragrances!

A fragrance the man needs!
Received as a sample in 2008, hung up, got addicted, bought a bottle and has not been put down since.

If there is one fragrance that is typically "masculine" for me, it is this one! Well balanced mix of leather, boozyness and smoke with a very light citrus touch. Those who like "Bentley for Men Intense" will also like Ambré. They are reminiscent of each other, with the big difference that the Bentley emphasizes alcohol, whereas the Ambré emphasizes smoky leather
And unfortunately the Baldessarini is far less durable than the Bentley. But that's the only thing I find fault with this perfume.

Great and underrated!
In my opinion, this is a completely underestimated fragrance, which is far ahead of other Aventus-like fragrances I have smelled so far. The citric opening and the following smoky heart are simply fantastic. The first time I wore the scent, my daughter was immediately taken aback: "Wow, you smell great!" Whereby the fragrance seems to be better received by women than MB Explorer or CDNIM.
I like the Sillage. However, its durability leaves much to be desired, and it can be sniffed on clothing much longer than on the skin. Since the smell is to be had however quite favorably, man can refill!
All in all, a purchase I have never regretted, a fragrance with an addictive factor that I reach for again and again!
