I’ve always been a fan of lipstick-like powdery rich iris perfume, therefore the blind buy of infusion d‘iris. After smelling it I realized that it’s not really what I imagined. In the opening you mainly smell soapy neroli and alcohol like cedar wood. Congrats if these are also your thing, for me they’re distracting me from the iris in the background.

A creamy perfume for the sweet-toothed girlie, the note similar to BR540 here is muted and more gentle, smells more like candy-floss. It´s strong and long lasting like most gourmand, the puffy sweet scent lasts to the end with some notes missing along the way. I can´t wear the perfume in most occasions since I´m no longer a teenager, but still sometimes I will indulge myself with the sweet puffy cloud.

When I was trying Angel at the store, I fell in love immediately, it was just the kind of sweetness that would make me happy instantly, I couldn´t help but smelling it many times on my wrist. After buying it and tried it at home, it suddenly felt so different because only then did I notice how overwelming the patchouli was, it took me some time to get used to it again but I guess this is the beauty of Angel.

For a untrained nose this smells just like rose, nothing unexpected. After trying some fruity lychee rose jammy perfumes, I come back to this one, and this time I can distinguish the tea. It’s not really a pretty and charming rose, but rather a natural, soft and clean rose. The longevity and silage are both good.
