Different from your sister ...
... you are different from your sister.
Of course, everyone recognizes that you are siblings. None of you can deny it, but while your sister is the dark, deep, magical, and oppressive personality,
you are the dark, deep, seductive, and dangerous sister.
You are the one who appears so steadfast and mature with your patchouli and sandalwood. Everyone will know that you are grown up. But just as magical and dark as your sister.
The orange blossom and tuberose draw a smile on your face. You convey pure joy of life and captivate people. Unlike your sister, who achieves this with her darkness and heaviness.
With your smile and your vivacity from the ginger and blood orange, you deceive people; you seem so harmless, you seduce them, they are caught in your web. Then you pull them down into the abyss with your base of patchouli and sandalwood. They will be ensnared by you; they cannot escape you.
Unassuming, but just as dangerous as your sister (intense), once you get to know you.

Extrême != Extreme ....
... this is how I would describe the fragrance to my colleagues. Which means nothing other than that Extrême is not the same as Extreme. But I'll get to that shortly.
A few years ago, I loved wearing the regular Black Opium in the depths of winter. At first, I never liked the coffee note, but my nose quickly got used to it. At that time, I swore I would only wear this fragrance. :D Well, I didn't really know many other fragrances until then.
Anyway, some time ago I got a decant of Black Opium EdP and had been toying with the idea of getting the fragrance again for months. Although it would only be for nostalgia.
When I saw that Black Opium Eau de Parfum Extrême was coming out, I was determined that it would be exactly the right version for me. Until just now, I thought it would be called "Black Opium Extrême - Eau de Parfum" and not "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extrême". So my expectations were very Extrême, no matter where the Extrême would have been placed.
I will first explain my initial impression and then the more detailed test, followed by a brief summary.
I received the fragrance as a gift. Full of curiosity, I first ran into a perfumery and sprayed "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum" on my right hand. Quick out, quickly opened the packaging, and quickly sprayed "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extrême" on my left hand. I alternated sniffing my hands. On the left, I smell the bitter chocolate and the espresso, just as Yanlizkalp79 mentioned in her statement. On the right, clearly Black Opium. Outside, in direct comparison, "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum" smelled sweeter and fruitier, indeed brighter (I am consciously not going into the normal fragrance too much).
It seemed to me that the Extrême variant was actually darker and more mature.
Just for your information, I think I have scent-absorbing skin. Because after 2 hours, I could hardly perceive the Extrême. Very, very faintly, my skin still smelled of warm vanilla. The right hand with the normal variant was still present with all its fragrance notes.
Well, my enthusiasm was dampened and my expectations were not met. Well, maybe I need to engage a bit more with the fragrance.
Said and done, now I’m sitting here. To my left is "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extrême" and to my right is "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum". Test strips on both sides. Laptop on. Each sprayed 3 times on the test strips and 3 times on my hand. Same game as before: left "Extreme", right "Normal". For both, I’m creating the fragrance pyramid on Parfumo. Only now do I see that it is only called "Eau de Parfum Extrême". And only now do I notice the citrus notes in the fragrance. I hadn’t perceived the citrus notes at all. Now that I read it and the fragrance has faded a bit, I can perceive them. More on the test strip than on my hand. But that’s not worth mentioning.
By now, my nose is probably scent-deaf. I can hardly smell a difference between the two fragrances. I bring in another nose, and that person also perceives hardly any differences, except that "the right (Normal) smells sweeter than the left (Extreme), but only minimally". The point for longevity now goes more to the Extrême.
I will sniff the test strips again tomorrow morning, with a fresh nose, and probably provide an update here.
Conclusion:
So inconspicuous, the word Eau de Parfum was added, just as inconspicuously one perceives the changes in the fragrance. I believe the Extrême fragrance gets its bitter note from the cocoa and that the coffee has changed its level. However, this is only somewhat noticeable to me in direct comparison. The fragrance remains a sweet scent nonetheless. The word Extreme raises expectations high. But Extreme is not really that Extreme. No one would notice these minimal changes. As for how the longevity really is, I need to test it more closely. Now on my hand, the Extrême is still perceptible after an hour. The normal one has already lost 20% - 30% of its intensity.
Does the fragrance need to be in the collection if "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum" already has a place? - Definitely not. Very fine noses might learn to love it if they have always wished for a Black Opium.

Under My Skin ...
... or under your skin. I can't smell myself, no matter how close I get my nose to my skin. I can't smell you, no matter how close I am to you. My love for you is so strong, I want to be as close to you as possible. No, being close is an understatement; I want to crawl inside you, I want us to be one. I get closer to you and smell your skin, your own scent. The closer I get to you, the more I smell you. My nose is glued to your skin, I inhale your fragrance. I inhale and breathe and smell. What I perceive, your own scent, which I love so much, I want to smell. I open myself up and detach from here and now. I lose my mind. I want more. I can't get enough, and I press my nose hysterically against your skin. The scent is not intense enough. I continue to run and dig my nose along you. I run and dig with my nose to find the spot that smells the strongest of you...
Nothing satisfies, I need to get closer with my nose and dig myself under your skin. Under my skin. We are one after all. Captivatingly fresh and animalistic, I perceive you, no wait, I perceive myself. A slight salty-spice I can taste with my nose, like fresh sweat on my skin.
___
The sillage can truly be described by the title. Such a captivating animalistic scent. I find the fragrance perfect for entering the animalistic scent world.

Fragrance Bomb
Let's ignore the title for a moment, but somehow it fits the scent. I received this fragrance as a sample while searching for a leather scent. Thanks to the lovely Parfuma.
To describe it briefly: the scent reminds me of a honey ball enveloped in balsam-coated, rough leather. Peach? I can't really perceive it, or I don't know what peach smells like in perfume. I find it complex; I can't pick out individual notes. Therefore, I will focus more on what a bomb this fragrance is.
The description will be factual. That doesn't mean the scent doesn't paint pictures in the mind.
From the very first sniff, I knew that this fragrance had to be in my collection sooner or later. Such a potent, delicious, sweet yet rough leather scent. Unisex? Definitely. Did I have to share this fragrance with you? DEFINITELY!
From receiving the sample to the end of the sharing. The sample sat on my desk the whole time. An arm's length away from me and closed. Yet, a dull, sweet, and slightly spicy cloud would tickle my nose every now and then. Directly on the skin, it can be overwhelming, but the subtle scent cloud plays with you. I haven't consciously sprayed the fragrance yet. First, the decanting before I focus on the scent. I peel off the foil, and already a fine scent cloud greets me. :D The fragrance was not sprayed!
After I finished with the decanting, someone walked on the other side of the apartment and already perceived the scent very strongly. The decanting was done with a syringe without losing a drop. I will leave this person's opinion on the fragrance aside.
Then came the best surprise for me. Even with the sample, I thought to myself that this scent can only be worn in the deepest winter, so strong is the fragrance. I would have liked just a mini sprayer; I want the subtlety I had at my desk with my sample. I want the scent to play with me. I thought that even with the decants.
And then I applied the fragrance and fell in love with it and Francesca all over again. The sprayer is divine. :D I've never experienced such a light spray mist from a bottle. It actually makes sense for an extrait. Still, I was surprised.
Scent: complex, delicious, with very strong H+S
Sprayer: light scent mist
Bottle+Design: Exactly my taste. Simple, lets the fragrance speak, and is still stylish.

Authentic Leather ... delicious
This is the third time I've mustered the courage to write a review. Actually, I have nothing to add to my predecessors. Twice when I wanted to write something ... wanted to share ... I thought, "Oh no, everything has really been said."
I have tested many of my decants lately. Also yesterday and today, which made me place an order right away.
But at the end of the day, I sit here alone with Guilty.
I got myself a bottle of this fragrance. I immediately decanted some for when I'm working or studying and want to sniff a scent; Guilty is right next to me. Totally happy after my tested perfumes from today, I found myself back at my desk. I see the Guilty decant, I’m pleased about it, I smell it. Mhhhhh. Simply delicious.
My surroundings have already pointed out the scent to me. Why do I smell so strange, it somehow smells like a cow shed or fertilizer.
I sit here, ready to go to sleep, wrapped in Guilty. I don’t smell cow shed or fertilizer.
I smell leather. Leather that might not be associated with black patent leather shoes. But leather, in cognac color, leather that is smooth but matte on the outside. Inside, it has more of a rough texture. Maybe a bit like the old rectangular leather backpacks.
I can't really perceive the patchouli; I can't say anything about all the other notes either, but I believe the main role here is played by the wood leather. The scent is totally linear. When I spray the scent on my hand in the evening, I can still perceive the wood leather in the morning. The scent diminishes, it is noticeable but weak. Mainly, in the morning, I perceive a kind of spiciness that I would describe as peppery.
The scent lasts long, yet I was constantly searching for a fragrance that I was just as addicted to, a scent that remains just as consistently dirty, a scent with perhaps more depth and something more complex and even longer-lasting or with more sillage.
I searched, asked many perfumers who already have many leather scents.
But to be honest, none of them have been it so far. I got to know many leather fragrances (thanks to the perfumers) that are good and that I will also acquire. But none was like Guilty.
In the end, I got to try the similar scent from Kilian - Dark Lord. The opening of both is indeed similar. But only for a minute. While Guilty is totally linear, the Kilian scent is really very complex and changes. After a few minutes, the scents no longer resemble each other for me.
I'm not saying that the Kilian scent is bad because of that, no, not at all. I think it is more socially acceptable. Not a crowd-pleaser, but ... perhaps more pleasant for other noses than Guilty.
I find Guilty really delicious and it has a very unique character compared to what I've smelled so far. It smells delicious; you can't ignore the scent, it is present and shows very confidently that it is there.
Whoever wants authentic leather will be well served here, but should bring a dose of healthy self-confidence.
Just like the motto: If it's too strong, you're too weak.
Good night.
