The better pura
Actually the same fruity DNA as its predecessor. Only now it's a little more subtle and no longer quite so "in your face". This thick, sugared fruit salad has become a pleasant, fresh and cool fruit cocktail that shines with its versatility. Nevertheless, it still has a very good shelf life and sillage. The light citrus in the opening definitely makes it much more pleasant to wear.
I didn't buy the "Erba Pura | XerJoff" because it was just too strong for me. The Erba Gold is definitely going on my wish list, I really like it.
Unfortunately, I think the price is a bit too expensive.

The first great love
The One Million and I have a long history. Back then, I was 13 or 14 when I smelled this fragrance in the schoolyard of an older classmate. I asked him what kind of deodorant he was using. He laughed at me and said "Deodorant? My good man, that's perfume. That's the One Million"
I was enchanted by this fragrance. That red mandarin (more of a grapefruit to me) combined with the sweet seductive cinnamon just took me on a journey. I had no idea about fragrances back then. That was my first contact with a perfume.
From then on, I always paid attention when the older classmate walked past me and I "smelled after him".
It was clear to me that "one day that would be my perfume".
I started to save up my pocket money because my parents and grandparents didn't want to spend so much money on water that smelled like something.
Then I bought this beautiful fragrance. From then on, many years followed with many bottles & shower gels. I wore it up and down, every day. At school, at parties & at home. I was addicted and it was part of me. At some point, everyone else around me started wearing this perfume too and so it lost its appeal for me. I was annoyed "they're all copying me" but I would never have been able to stop the One Million Tsunami that started rolling back then. Now I started wearing a Diesel here or a Lacoste there. But for the time being, I didn't have that real wow effect like I did with the One Million back then. That only came when I entered the niche world a few years ago. But the One Million will always have a special place in my heart. Even if I no longer own one. When I smell it today, it makes me happy and it still enchants me and catapults me back 15 years. I'm pretty sure I'll get one again, just for the nostalgia.
