Not what it's supposed to smell like
Whenever the three extraits came out, I got the little sample set directly from the company. I remember smelling them for the first time and not being impressed, but I wanted to revisit these and now I'm giving each of them a chance.
I wore Eragon today while I was getting groceries, and a lady in the checkout line awkwardly came up to me and said I smell like a really nice blunt. Which I know for a fact this profile isn't even close to that, but as I left I got a good laugh out of it.
After revisiting Valero and Carios as well, I'm starting to like the extraits more and more. After all, PDM is the niche house whose middle name is mass appeal, and in the best way possible.
Not another diss on Castley
When this came out, I got a free sample directly from the brand. I remember sniffing it for the first time and was like, "Oh yeah, this is the move." Yeah sure, it has a vague, and I mean VAGUE similarity to Imagination, but by no means is it Imagination. This has some real appeal and some real class to it. (I'm not dissing Imagination either, both are great and different in their own ways. If you tested them literally side by side you'll know this.) I don't care what the haters of this fragrance say, this stuff is great. Where you have your ambery shower gel from the brand that is Percival, or your fresh apple and damp woods that is Greenley, I think of this like a fresh mineral breeze from the brand, and, in my opinion, those three words are the best way to describe this fragrance.
