Absolutely amazing smell, just a little less citrus smell, but a lot more sophisticated which you can wear day or night. The original Acqua Di Gio has a great light citrus smell, this one still has that as a base but adds elegance and as a said sophistication to it, so you definitely can wear this at night.
Go for it, you won't be disappointed if you in general like colognes with a lighter smell.
