I'm in a small coffee shop in Malta. I'm glad to finally be able to sit down. I've been walking through the heat for three hours. Finally my drink arrives.
I slowly take my first sip.
The cold on my lips is pleasant.
It refreshes my whole body.
I am suddenly full of energy.
My thoughts become clear again.
The fragrance has exactly what you would expect from a daily summer fragrance. It is fresh and pleasant. Not intrusive but not boring either. Especially in the opening, the notes are very well balanced. First you notice the lemon. But the juniper berries and pepper are also noticeable from the start and accompany the fragrance, but never come to the fore. Over time, the notes of lemon, juniper berries and pepper fade without disappearing completely. The mineral freshness remains dominant.
The design of the bottle looks just as fresh as the fragrance thanks to the matte back. This makes it all the more disappointing that the lid is cheaply made. But unfortunately, this is familiar from many designer fragrances.
