Aventus in a down coat
I became aware of this perfume through the WhatsApp advice from Vicioso.
I wanted a fragrance that was suitable for everyday wear and appealing to everyone... And that's exactly what it is!
The fragrance's entire palette makes one thing clear: yes, the people behind it thought Aventus was pretty good.
But it is not a dupe and not on the same level as all the homage fragrances from the Arab world.
The fragrance opens and smells almost 1:1 like Aventus Absolu for the first few seconds.
While Aventus more or less drives its boot to the end, the fragrance here is a little tamer and more pleasing. It has no sharp edges, the pineapple is not biting and the smoke is hardly an issue worth mentioning. Instead, we have a much rounder and lighter progression.
For all those who like the versatility and freshness of the original Aventus, but prefer the creaminess and balance of the Absolu.
All in all, a really good and solid fragrance. The longevity is absolutely reasonable, the price is competitive and the silage is actually very good. The fragrance has already brought me many compliments on day 1 and should go down extremely well with non-perfume fanatics in particular.
All in all, it's all been done before, but rarely so well and cheaply.
A big compliment goes to the spray head. There are fragrances in their millions for three times the price of Vicioso that can't even begin to keep up here. The entire package is puristic but high-quality.
It will certainly not be the last fragrance from this brand in my collection.

Gunter Sachs in St. Tropez
Loose, light, lively and profound. For many, Gunter Sachs may have been like any other playboy stumbling around the world, but he certainly wasn't.
On a rather boring Sunday evening I once saw a documentary about this fascinating person. My attitude towards him was very critical in the beginning. I only knew the stories that were still being broadcast from time to time on RTL and similar gossip channels and newspapers on his birthdays.
How deep can someone of this caliber be?
As it turned out: extreme!
From artist to technical and economic genius, this man seems to have been everything, especially misunderstood.
I had a similar experience with this scent. I smelled it for a short time at the TF Counter in Breuninger and it was considered boring and one of many superficially very pretty but not unique scents.
But a few months ago I smelled him again in the duty free area of Munich airport... In the beginning I thought again only "quite nice", but then a creamy flower meadow in the forest rolled over me like a tank.
The fragrance emanates exactly what the Italians would probably call "Sprezzatura". It is noble and casual at the same time. A fragrance of a mixture of youthful lightness, beach villa and a lot of lust for life.
Certainly no fragrance as unique as A Midsummer Dream or as groundbreaking for the industry as Aventus... But a fragrance to fall in love with, for every day and every situation with more behind it than you would see at first sight.
Its durability and sillage are decent. 2 hours with good sillage and from the 5th hour on already very close
The bottle, like any Tom Ford bottle, is, in my opinion, great... However, as almost always the sign is not 100% straight on it, which is definitely something annoying at this price. Especially with this frequency on almost every second bottle.

The ticking of the clocks
Misty tea fields and a gently rippling brook run through a somewhat unreal looking scenery...
Once again my head is somewhere else. Everywhere and nowhere, as long as it is not here in the daily grind and ordinary. I want to go out into the world, jump into an airplane in an unknown country and direction of unknown adventures to feel that I am alive, to feel what I felt nochnie.
Especially during the current crisis, I had a lot of time to think... Less about life itself, but more about transience. In 20 years I will probably not remember every evening on the couch, but the days that meant something special. Does it even matter how long we live? Or is it only important how much we experience in the end?
What's certain is that everything would be boring if it was forever
And this brings me to the fragrance itself: it is a wonderfully moist smelling tea scent with fruity elements and a very light green twist in the aftertaste. Not like a CK One or similar but very unique and special. The iris is presented very differently than I would have ever smelled this note before. Not powdery and creamy, but somehow soaked and sparkling. Almost a little "chanelingy", if you know what I mean by that. Very noble and natural.
There is not much development. The fruit will eventually become the root and the tea will become warmer and less pointed over time, if that is the right word for it.
The durability and sillage are really remarkable for the type of fragrance: 3 hours with good projection and another 3 at about half an arm length to ¾. But all in all the theatre is over after 8 hours, which is a very acceptable performance for such a decent scent.
The bottles at THoOO are in a class of their own anyway... Every single egg is unique and is coated by hand with many layers of different colours. Especially in the light it looks really impressive. I would even go so far as to say that these could be the highest quality flacons in the entire industry.
Whether one finds the slightly kitschy to crisply gaudy color spectrum so great is a matter of taste that even here seems to divide minds... But they are always impressive.

Nude painting without colours
Warm... Human... Soft... Somehow on a balance between not being there and caressing
Authentic, clean and yet very skin-like musk meets the molecule paradox: some smell almost nothing except something sweet and flowery, others smell you 5km against the wind.
I've never received so many positive comments about a fragrance like this one... Even though others say "I don't smell anything" the next moment.
It makes me think a little bit about a nude painting. It's so pure and peaceful and perfect... But at second glance you stand before a white, empty and cold canvas
Blind purchases should be avoided at all costs with this fragrance. It would be a pity if you couldn't smell it yourself ;)
The performance seems to be extreme in terms of both sillage and durability.
The presentation is also in a class of its own, even though the bottle changes from grayish green to black rather than this vibrant green.

The cold and humid air mixes with the smell of fresh smoke
Still some few meters I carry the nearly burned cigarette with me and think about it.
About my life, my experiences, the things you survived and what life has in store for you. It's so peaceful... Just the stars, light wind blowing through the old town and me.
This wonderful smell of a cold night slowly but surely drives away that of burnt tobacco and I stroll on out of town, further towards the church. The damp earth and the typical church smell always fill this place with a very calm, even if mysterious aura.
But now it is time to go home. Carelessly I throw the butt on the wet floor and kick it out in passing... The first sunrays of the day still accompany me gently on my way home.

The fragrance really smells like a night walk in the rain. The first few minutes are almost aggressive and pungent smoky, but this quickly subsides and becomes a pleasant incense note. The cypress and cade wood together have an extreme effect on me like this typical smell of a rainy evening in early summer.
It's great for layering. But absolutely as a basis, so that the aggressive cigarette note can be removed
