Blind buying is disappointing.

Carried away by enthusiastic statements of users in sites about perfumes we blind buy fragrances which are not our cup of tea, or do not match our lifestyle and personae. And a perrsona has to do with our real personality and not the clothes we wear. A persona is who we really are far away from our socialising and far away from any interaction with others. Besides that we blind buy from inexpensive stuff like ZARA launches to niche fragrances. Therefore our blind buying is rather more overconsuming than blind trust to karma pot luck! Many expensive houses provide tiny samples of their perfumes, but there at not samples for all their creations. Think more or think twice next time you blind buy, maybe try a sample of a similar scent in terms of notes listed. Finally I am including in this article a list of various fragrances which would please most people looking for this type of fragrance. None of the fragrances in the list is hugely expensive in Europe.

1.Maubussin edp for women is actually very unisex. 2. Maubussin Private club edp for men. 3.Loulou Cacharel edp for women still unchanged in time smells like an expensive Indian floral incense stick. 4.KOUROS Body YSL edt for men. 5. Patchouli edt by Reminiscence for women is a juicy amber woodsy unisex patchouli very niche in quality but inexpensive.

6. The 4 particular fragrances in the picture are all men edt or edp in the category of woodsy spicy or fugere. (Zino by Davidoff - TOUS 1920 original.- Black for men AIGNER and UNGARO III These four gems cost from 40€-20€ in Europe. Thank you for reading this article, feel fee to write comments

Good article! I have a firm price limit for blind buying, and fortunately, if it doesn't work for me, one of my sisters-in-law, nieces, cousins or friends will love it.

Thanks Kathryn. the possibility of offering a gift is really great for something that isn't your cup of tea.

@Tzapan I appreciate you talking about this important topic - I completely agree with you, blind buying can be incredibly disappointing... not to mention very expensive! I now try to buy sample sizes or decants, wherever possible. Do you enjoy buying sample scents and decants, too?

I haven't bought many, but it is so much safer. And this way you know for sure if you want the larger bottle of juice.

Agreed - blind buying can sometimes be exciting and adventurous, but it's important to approach it with caution to minimize the risk of disappointment (and financial losses if the fragrance is expensive). Thank you for shedding light on this matter!

I thank you too for the comment. Did you like any of the fragranes in my list? If you need a substitute I can recommend for some of them.
