I love Room 1015, and so I was really excited for this one to launch where I live. Instant buy upon first smell/spray on my hand. It turned into a more muted, animalic Mango/Jasmine scent on my skin, which I adored. It’s less “Sour Watermelon Fruit Rollup Surfer” that Wavechild is, and more fruity cocktail with a Jasmine, peppery punch that delivers in the heat. This scent exploded off my skin after an intense gym session, and it’s now going to be one for my Summer shelf.
It threw me back to Y2K, going to Jamba Juice, working out at the gym, and tanning on the beach in Summer! What a snapshot. There’s a little less Jasmine than I expected for the name, but that’s fine for me. It’s Unisex as hell and myself and my partner can wear this easily.

How can I best describe my encounter with this gourmand...?
I'd heard a lot about this from friends who know I love perfumes. These friends of mine also know that I love coffee. After much asking and probing, I decided to blind-buy the bottle.
I hadn't even opened the package yet before I swear I could smell the coffee/caramel/maple syrup notes. Already sold, I sprayed it four times - once on each side of my neck, and once on each wrist. I did this in the living room, placing the bottle on my coffee table afterward.
About five hours later, my partner emerged from our home office and declared "I can smell waffles and now I want waffles and syrup. Can you smell it too or am I going crazy?" Of course I could smell it. I was wearing it. It had dried down to a lovely deep burnt caramel scent on me, and I was falling in love with it.
But then I noticed that I still smelled the perfume in the living room the next day. And then the day after that. And then the day after that. And then the day after that! I guess you could say that I really have been "Followed." I did not
If you like gourmands, I recommend this. Even moreso if you like coffee! Insane longevity, insane sillage...

Pungent in a good way
By far this is my favourite TF in my collection aside from Oud Wood. The very first note I get is Sichuan Pepper, and it is so loaded that it almost overwhelms me for a minute before lessening to a much more tolerable scent. But I love to wear this when I want to smell like the future/the inside of a very modern spaceship. There's really no other way I can describe it.
This fragrance lasts the whole day on me, and even through a full gym workout after a long work day. Absolutely forever on my clothes.
So sad it's been discontinued. If you get the chance to buy it, do it! Definitely would only recommend for Men though.

Phenomenal.
The Extrait just stuck with me for a full year before I was able to get back to the store where I smelled it. I had to have that second smell before I jumped, and I’m so glad I did!
I went for Extrait, as opposed to the Eau because I preferred the front-loading of the Cherry and Saffron notes there. The leather is more subtle, which just suits the icy cold climate of where I live. I like both though, so I happily recommend both!
