Licorice snacker gets nothing to snack on
I love licorice! I love it in all variations, colors and flavors!
Salty, Frisian, liquorice, as a liqueur and especially the sticky liquorice molasses from Holland that you can buy in every supermarket there.
Some people run away as soon as they hear the name liquorice.
I, on the other hand, could snack on licorice at every opportunity.

Curious as I am, I naturally wanted to snack on Lempicka's licorice and so I sprayed Lempicka Homme on my wrist, full of anticipation and liquorice expectation.
However, the joy quickly faded, because this licorice note was not at all what I had imagined.

With a lot of imagination, a certain licorice note could be heard, but it had something dusty and musty about it.
No anise, more of a herbaceous caraway note.
More green than sweet. Slightly tart and no soft vanilla at all, which, if present, would certainly have provided a great contrast.
Perhaps it could even have been a Jean Paul Gaultier competitor, but unfortunately not like this.

It all comes across as a bit unrounded and untidy, as if Lempicka had thrown everything that could smell good into the cooking pot without stirring.
The sillage is not particularly pronounced either.
At least the shelf life of 6 hours is still just okay.

Despite the fact that the fragrance unfortunately didn't pick me up, I think it's good that Lempicka has taken a different path than many of her competitors.

The sporty gentleman
"Maahir Legacy | Lattafa / لطافة" is quite popular with most fragrance noses. Not only because it is very similar to the popular "Sedley | Parfums de Marly", but also because it simply has a pleasing, subtle shower gel DNA that is extremely sexy and masculine.

Admittedly, the top note is a little chaotic and a little too unrounded for me, but after 30 minutes a wonderful, woody freshness comes through that lays on the skin like an expensive shower gel.
From this point on, I love "Maahir Legacy | Lattafa / لطافة" and could bathe in it.
I also perceive a 90s vibe that reminds me of shaving foam.
It's not a super loud showy fragrance that wants to stand out at all costs. rather, "Maahir Legacy | Lattafa / لطافة" impresses with its cool understatement and quality.
Definitely a sporty gentleman, not a prince show-off.
Despite the restrained, less aggressive sillage, which is nevertheless noticeable for hours, "Maahir Legacy | Lattafa / لطافة" has a top shelf life for me. (10h+) I wouldn't have thought that and was pleasantly surprised.

All in all, I really like "Maahir Legacy | Lattafa / لطافة" and it's almost multifunctional.
If you want to smell freshly showered, sexy and masculine, you can order the fragrance blind.

Delicious cocktail on the plastic beach
Even if my headline might suggest something negative, let me say in advance that the fragrance is super delicious.

I would describe Endless Summer as sweet and juicy. Sugared lime with aromatic coconut and a dash of rum. The summer crowdpleaser is ready.

In fact, it could be so easy to bring summer to your skin if it weren't for the synthetics, which also remind me a little of a chemistry lab.
However, that's not a problem for me in this case, because I can't expect a highly complex fragrance for €17.

I even suspect that Endless Summer has relatively good longevity due to the synthetics. it lasts 6-8 hours for me. Close to the skin, it shows after a good 2 hours.
Absolutely acceptable values for a freshie, considering the price.

"Endless Summer | Amando Perez" is a playful "straight to the skin" fragrance that fits well into any beach bag in a 50ml flacon and looks great next to sunscreen, mojitos and plastic palm trees.

Treat yourselves! Cheers!

Symbiosis of Le Male and Gaultier2
JPG's Elixir could also be a new edition of Gaultier2.
A little fresher and not quite as sultry, but it still has the DNA of Gaultier2 for the first few hours. Later, Le Male also makes a brief appearance, but remains subtly in the background. Lavender is not as omnipresent here as in other JPG fragrances.
The theme is determined by a strong tonka and creamy vanilla. Sweet like almost all JPGs, but not too overpowering thanks to the mint.
It's almost as if Gaultier2 were drinking a mojito. This also makes it more wearable, more modern and more masculine.
The long lasting and strong sillage is typical of JPG and I am pleased that you can always rely on the performance of JPG.

All in all, a well-made new edition of Gaultier2!
However, the best JPG for me remains Le Parfum.

He is and remains one of the best Freshies!
In the Freshness / Sexy Summer Fragrances category, there are two fragrances that are at the top of my list
That's "Fierce (Cologne) | Abercrombie & Fitch" and "Allure Homme Sport (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel"

I like the combination of citrusy freshness and gentle sweetness on a light spicy woody base.
"Allure Homme Sport (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel" stands for agility, elegance and motivation.
With this fragrance, Chanel has created a true masterpiece for the modern man. An all-rounder that always works and always brings compliments.
I have never met anyone who doesn't like this fragrance or finds it even slightly inferior.

All the ingredients are perfectly matched and wonderfully balanced.
No note pushes itself unpleasantly into the foreground or smells synthetic.
It is this seductive creaminess that arises in the base of light woods and vanilla and makes every nose beat faster.

Because "Allure Homme Sport (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel" is not only for anyone looking for a fragrance for sport, but also a wonderful dating fragrance that will not fail to have an effect on the opposite sex.
Provided you have a pocket atomizer in your trouser pocket and can top up regularly.
Even though it deserves full marks for its fragrance character, "Allure Homme Sport (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel" is unfortunately weak in terms of performance and durability.

I achieve 5-6 hours, but it is already close to the skin after about 1 hour.
It's not a complete disaster, because many summer fragrances unfortunately have a tendency to have a weak shelf life anyway, but with this delicious fragrance and the already decent price, I would have liked a little more staying power.

But that's the only point of criticism.
Otherwise, this evergreen can take off and belongs in every perfume collection.
Chapeau Chanel!
