The Fraternal Twin
When it comes to masculine seductive fragrances, I always immediately think of classics like Aventus, Fierce or BdC.
They give the wearer a fresh, masculine character and are not too sweet.
I choose when dating therefore almost always a fresh and sporty fragrance, in a relationship it may then also times something sweeter and more experimental to go.
Sporty, citrusy, fresh fragrances have the advantage that you can almost never do anything wrong with them and they are well received by almost all noses.
For this they sometimes lack a certain twist or sophistication, which other fragrances more often combine in themselves. Evil tongues would perhaps also call them shower gel fragrances.

Al Haramain Signature Blue surprises with a very good BdC twin.
However, it is more of a fraternal twin, because it resonates a lot of independence and a rebellious citrus top note.
After being captured and somewhat subdued by the woody base, Signature Blue evolves into a true champion.
In fact, from the middle onwards, I actually like the Arabic version better than the original BdC EdT.
It is woodier, rounder and more pleasing, convinces with a good durability of 8h + and has a top sillage. For just under 30 euros absolutely blindbuy worthy. What more could you ask for?

Got in the supermarket afterwards indirectly my first compliment from a young lady to the fragrance. She said namely whispering to her friend: "Here smells what fully horny!"
It can not go better for Signature Blue!
It just has that sexy, citrusy, woody BdC DNA that is sure to guarantee quick compliments.

The only downer for me is the cap, which sits too tightly on the Atomizer and pulls off the spray head cover if not handled carefully.
This gives a point deduction in the Flacon, but does not diminish the fragrance thereby of course.

In conclusion, it only remains to say that I will clamp me in the future the significantly more expensive BdC.

Al Haramain has once again done a really good job! Chapeu!

Hit of the Cinnamon Candy
I have to admit, I have a strange habit. I often shop for summer fragrances in winter and winter fragrances in summer.
So I also could not resist snacking on the spicy cinnamon bun from the house of Viktor & Rolf in the local high summer.

Right off the bat, a sweet fruity grenade powers me.
I smell a lot of cinnamon and grapefruit.
Under the Christmas mantle, however, already waiting warm woods and the seductive benzoeharz, which gives Infrared a very independent fragrant component, especially in the drydown.

For me, Infrared is a very nice spicy winter fragrance that stands out from other fragrances.
In part, it even brings back memories of bath oils.
A warm full bath with Infrared at Christmas time would definitely be a fragrant relaxation.

Overall, Infrared has a pretty good shelf life (8h+).
The sillage promises clear perception in the first 2 hours but then becomes noticeably weaker.

I think Infrared will most positively notice, however, not everyone will want to wear it.
Maybe a little too Christmasy, too punchy or bath-oily for some.

Nevertheless, I find Infrared really succeeded, so he may also move in with me already in the summer.

Wet dog...
... those were the disgusted words of my girlfriend when I held this masterpiece on my wrist under her nose.

Slightly amused quickly confirmed my experience I have already made with Encre Noir EdT.
This fragrance is not a pantydropper, nor is it clubking.
EN L'extreme is a fragrance made for the introverted, intellectual man who is in balance with himself and nature.

A mystical, cool aura surrounds me.
Dense wisps of mist suddenly appear before my eyes, and rain pelts down on my pale skin as if the sky were weeping.
There is a smell of moss, mushrooms and rotting leaves.
I run deeper and deeper into the endless forest, past dead tree stumps that look like grimaces.
The darkness wraps me in a dead man's robe and never lets me leave this endless forest again.

EN L'extreme, much like its little brother, is one of those polarizing fragrances that won't appeal to the masses.
It's more of an abstract work of art and something for aficionados' noses.
I admit that I do not wear L'extreme very often, as the uses seem limited to me.
But it definitely belongs as a perfume enthusiast in my collection and I take my olfactory hat off to this ingenious, different composition!

Personally, I like even L'extreme even better than the EN EdT, because it has more Bums and lasts longer.
The fragrance complexity is darker and more pronounced in the L'extreme.
Everything seems coherent and perfectly balanced.
A fragrance that is best enjoyed with himself all alone.

From underdog to superstar!
I appreciate Lalique very much for the creative and extraordinary fragrance ways the French luxury company goes.
So you can actually always find fragrances that are different and yet radiate full of elegance and glamour.

So now White in Black.
The Flacontyp simple and familiar as you already know it from the Lalique White, here only in black with a chalkboard coating.
The deeper meaning behind it remains hidden to me, but the feel is grippy by the slightly rough surface.

After two sprays on the wrist I was blown away!
Definitely the best and most pleasing Lalique! The underdog has finally mutated into a superstar.

White in Black smells clean, elegant, masculine, sexy and luxurious!
Memories of Layton are awakened, yet I like Lalique better.
Here is the best of Profumo, Code, Sauvage and Layton!
A perfect mix of all the scents:
Bright, clean woods with a hint of smoke wrapped in a sweet, vanilla cardamom coat and decorated with fresh citrus.
Something floral resonates through lavender, giving White in Black a hint of baby powder.
All this never seems overloaded or too intrusive.
The ingredients are a Winner team and radiate masculine elegance and luxury!
The scent progression is mostly linear, but becomes in the drydown still a little sweeter and smoother.

A small hook has unfortunately the durability.
From an Eau de Parfum I am in any case accustomed to other.
Nevertheless, I come to moderate 7-8h, with the projection already after about 2h noticeably decreases.
For this I had to deduct a point, otherwise White in Black would have gotten a smooth 10.

The fragrance is versatile.
I see White in Black but most likely for special occasions.
Dating, business dinners, or at the club.
However, I would take in the club then but still additionally a pocket atomizer, because of the unfortunately moderate performance.

I am very sure that the fragrance will still experience a hype, with the potential to become the better Layton.
However, since White in Black is pretty much not represented in any pedestrian perfumeries, let's hope that word doesn't get out too quickly.

The new guy in the Eros and One Million universe!
I could never do anything with the oldschool Joop Homme EdT.
This pungent cinnamon-like synthetics has always caused me more headaches instead of olfactory pleasure at the time.
Accordingly, I was also skeptical at the newly reissued EdP version the other day in the perfumery of my confidence.
I expected actually the same cinnamon-like Plörre only with more Bums and more headaches.

Surprisingly, I was greeted with a very nice, warm scent that still has a cinnamon-y synthetic coming up somewhere deep hidden, but comes across as much more down-to-earth and modern due to the earthy hazelnut.
Vanilla, tonka and cardamom at the same time in a fragrance to pack, I find brave and everyone should know at the latest with these ingredients, what to expect.
Because by the Christmas baking it has become a very sweet gourmand, which might already be too sultry for some.
As for the obtrusiveness and sweetness, it reminds me of fragrances like Stronger with you, Eros, One Million, or Spicebomb,
but still remains independent and uncompromisingly true to its line.
Even if the fragrance has no sophistication to offer, so the drydown is really very very nice.
Slightly nutty, masculine wafting and comfortably warm around the heart he prepares me just in the Drydown still many beautiful hours.

Conclusion: With the annoying Joop Homme Edt has the EdP no longer much to do.
Who stands on very sweet fragrances, could perhaps be happy with Joop Homme EdP.
The durability is fantastic 10h+
The sillage can also definitely trigger asthma attacks in some people around by spraying too much.
So less is certainly more here!
I like Joop Homme EdP.
No stroke of genius, but a solid Gourmand the Santa Claus would also like guaranteed.
