Vanilla-Suede
Three new fragrances from Bottega Veneta's Venetian collection have been released as perfumes (the first five were EDPs).

In my opinion, all three reveal different facets of oud. Goodmorning Midnight is an almost classic combination of rose with almost animalistic oud. Hinoki is a woody, pure oud for meditation. And in "Almost Dawn | Bottega Veneta," the oud adds a very soft, leathery undertone. The leather, or rather suede, gives the rich vanilla a subtle bitterness and thus a special nobility that makes it a true perfume, not a gourmand.

If I had to compare it to other fragrances, I would liken it to some Shalimars that have the same leathery, slightly rubbery undertone. And with "Mica d'Oro I | Valmont," where I would draw a parallel between the vanilla notes. While I smell Valmont for a few days, Almost Dawn lasts about 8-10 hours on my skin and then fades delicately. It envelops the wearer like a cocoon, a roughly one-meter-high aura of bitter vanilla.

And of course the bottles - it's a story of hate to love. When I first saw them in a photo, I thought it was a mistake, but time passed, and when I held the bottles in my hands, I was already enchanted: their shape, the marble stand, and the tiny bubbles in the glass that remind the bottle of frozen tree resin and bring it to life; it truly seems to be a creation of nature.

To summarize: The perfume suits me; it will be my scent this autumn. The first bottle has almost run out in sharing, and I am now considering a second one.

A Loving and Gentle Beast
How delicious it is to drink coffee in this aroma mmm!
Fluffy, soft, delicious, sweetened milk with a slight hint of coconut ... but it’s not all that simple. Sometimes it turns to its animal side, it’s harder to deal with than the first, like a wild horse that kicks out and won’t be saddled. Oh, there’s definitely a reason why the marketing image of this fragrance is a unicorn. Even when I look at dad's bottle, I can see the fur of this creature's mane on the glass.
But without this edge, it would definitely be much easier; it gives it a devilish quality, but also makes it harder to wear.
And yes, the longevity is about 8 hours, sillage is also decent.

Mimose Moltebeer!
When I inhaled for the first time, I thought it was something very, very familiar that I had smelled just yesterday - I began to sort through my memories of objects that olfactory memories led me to, and they took me to the kitchen - to cloudberry jam! Yes, for me it's almost the same - the same honey taste, the same color and texture (cloudberries and mimosas really look similar)
But of course, it's not one to one - naturally, the light reflection has something that is completely missing in jam - brightness and air - and it is not sweet.
There is one of the first flowers that bloomed in woods and meadows - yellow flowers, 7-10 at once on thick, delicate green stems. We used to eat them as children - there were rumors that they contained many vitamins. When I exhale, Ray-Flection really smells like those flowers.
I still don't know what I will do next with this bottle, but it is a really interesting experience.

The Scent of Calm
It is very quiet, it really smells like skin. But something very special.
When it arrived and I sprayed it on my skin, I was initially terribly disappointed - I only heard the cheap base of most mass-market fragrances, I was disappointed - I had expected so much from it!
And the next morning, when I woke up, I perceived an amazing scent - this is how skin sometimes smells after a long, good sleep in a clean bed, preceded by either a bath with a book or a sauna session. The smell of a person's skin, rested and happy from quiet joys. That was the scent of Piano Santal.
After it settled, the smell of the cheap base disappeared. At first, it has a rather sharp wood aroma, then the calm aroma of sandalwood lingers for a long time - reminds me of this is her by Z&V but quieter. And after 6 hours, the creaminess and milkiness remain.
I am definitely interested, I will wear it and keep an eye on it.

Cherries, Wine, and Hay
Ladanika is a perfume brand from Russia that aims to reflect olfactory images of characters, customs, and places from Russian folklore. The fragrances are made with natural ingredients in small quantities. To ensure availability, they must be ordered in advance from the brand.

The namesake aroma, Ladanika, is a very warm, rich scent, thick and shifting with various nuances. I always perceive a cherry pit - but at first, it resembles more of a wine with cranberries and other berries. Then only the cherry and tobacco leaves remain, lingering for several days.
In the sillage, a bubble gum note also emerges.
This perfume also has the scent of hay, which makes it particularly cozy, not for going out to the theater or restaurant, but for a blanket in an armchair or a walk in the park.

The bottles from Ladanika vary greatly depending on the volume. I have a delightful round bottle with engraved design, very sweet.

Considering the vast selection of cherry scents available today, this one feels like a charming young woman from the village, unaware of her attractiveness and therefore particularly easy to communicate with.
