Every day is a summer vacation
I have times dared to jump into the deep end and ordered me Ramune as blind-buy. Since J-Scent fragrances are unfortunately difficult to get from DE, this was unfortunately a somewhat expensive venture. I regretted it nevertheless not, because Ramune my expectations more than fulfilled! :)

Ramune is a Japanese lemonade with a very characteristic taste, somewhat similar to the Turkish Uludağ Gazoz, citrusy with light bubblegum vibes. Aufjedenfall very tasty, refreshing and prepares one blissful feelings.

Now to the fragrance itself:
When spraying it smells exactly like the first sip of a cold, freshly opened Ramune bottle, after you have plopped down the glass marble, and the delicious fizz bubbles and tingles. There's something relaxed and lively about the scent that reminds me of summer vacations. When days and life were more relaxed and simple, and you didn't have worries and problems.

Ramune is definitely made up of many different ingredients and is very multi-faceted. The different facets create just that illusion of a fresh Ramune fizz when the notes bundle together, like different colored rays of light which when bundled together produce white light. Nevertheless, the fragrance oscillates between this illusion and the individual notes. Sometimes I perceive particularly strong the mint, then again amber and musk, or again times the lily of the valley.

Apart from the "Ramune" accord, the fragrance has a very fresh, clean base, which reminds me of freshly washed laundry, which was dried in the summer sun. Slightly floral, musky, vanilla, woody and minty. Never penetrating, always fresh and pleasant. This clean scent aura follows you for many hours and you reap such good compliments :)

The fragrance was so well designed and created that the longevity and sillage are surprisingly good for a "freshie", as the basic structure is made of typically long-lasting fragrance molecules. In this respect, the "Ramune" chord holds with me about 2Std and then slowly goes into the long-lasting base which then holds a whole day, of course, always weaker with time.

I have already tested some fragrances with similar associations, which are supposed to smell like "bubble gum" or "lemonade", including "Love Don't Be Shy (Perfume)" or "Series 6: Synthetic - Soda" but Ramune is fundamentally different. It possesses a similar effervescent effect to Soda, but thankfully less of its citrusy cleaner vibe that unfortunately spoils Soda for me. It possesses a similar bubblegum/candy accord as in Love, but in definitely fresher, mintier, and less sticky and stuffy.

The bottle and OVP of Ramune or J-Scent fragrances are simple but sensible and well made. The sprayer serves its purpose impeccably. The OVP is sturdy and consists of a special, slightly glittery, velvety-soft material, which reminds of pretty construction paper... in any case, very "Japanese" and with much attention to detail, as it creates a high-quality impression.

Conclusion: Ramune is recommendable!

Who made it this far...thanks for reading! :) There are more comments on J-Scent fragrances to follow.
