What You Rêve was advertised to be...
Glossier's "You" aimed to be the color-changing-lipstick of the perfume world: morphing with each wearer. FWIW, all my skin pulled was black pepper (boo).
"You Rêve" and "You Doux" were the next iterations, aiming to be a fruity version and a woody version, respectively. I love Doux and wear it often, as a soft skinscent that's just as neutral and calming as the packaging. Rêve, however was a gloopy, synthetic, lipsticky mess to my nose... bummer, because I wanted the sweet veil advertised.
Which brings us to Snif Co.'s "Me"... it is neither as refined or well-blended as Rêve, but it succeeds in delivering on what it promises: a sweet skin-scent that shifts with the wearer. As a couple women and I all sprayed it at ULTA, we compared notes: on paper, peach nectar and wood pulp (think DIY paper from art class). On lady A, a mossy earthy base with a brief fruity top (think Chloe Nomade EDT). On lady B, nothing... orcanox took over and there was a 'whiff' of sweet air but it seemed her skin absorbed it totally. On me, a plummy sweetness with just a hint of sandalwood grounding.
I think this will be a controversial one -- not just for 'knocking off' or 'talking back to' Glossier's "You" -- but because the notes can tend to swing back-and-forth: sweet, woody, airy, dusty, bright, wispy, earthy, etc.
I think I'll buy a full bottle because it suits me well, and I'm excited to read what others discover!

lured by the bottle, betrayed by the Bellini
This one went *verrrryyyy* astringent on me... I think it's the champagne/bellini note. So pretty but as it dries down it smells like lemon pledge. As for drydown, I don't get any honey, it's a very musky-orris dustiness. A beautiful scent in the bottle but it's not a good match for my skin's chemistry.
Cozy bedtime scent
After sampling over and over and over... I'm caving and buying a bottle. This reminds me of refrigerated mochi: 'bouncy', fluffy, cool, and fun. Compared to Eilish, this is more musky even though you could say they're in the same 'family' of non-gourmand, young, slightly fruity vanilla. I prefer this one for hot weather and bedtime. Both are lovely and affordable to pick up a 1oz as a nice gift!
ETA: I don't agree with comparisons to Cloud beyond a 'sweet musk' thing that's at the heart of the entire AG brand. Cloud has the 'bandaid' smell, and the lavender is a little herbaceous... Mod Vanilla is sweet musk with a bit of airy floral. So if you didn't like Cloud (like me) you might love this - or try the new Cloud Pink, which is a tropical version of this.

Softer and more agreeable Coco Mad
I have *such* bad luck with Chanel scents... their signature musk/patchouli combo comes across as truly *grating*, almost like sandpaper at the back of my throat. But! I tried this on a whim, assuming it would be too harsh (like the OG CM) and wow - this is softer, prettier, and more wearable for me. By taking out the majority of the patchouli and focusing on the soft florals, while keeping the citrusy opening, this truly smells like a dreamy interpretation on the modern classic. I'm excited to get a bottle of this one soon - because it's so light, it'll be perfect for cozy intimate events where people are close enough to smell me and say "mmm you smell nice."
Pretty, classic, lovely
This was my first 'big girl' perfume, and I can't remember who bought it for me for a birthday or maybe a Christmas gift, but I was OBSESSED. That said, it was too mature for me (as a teen) and I don't know what happened to my bottle. But, I tried it again at Nordstrom's this week and the scent memories came flooding back! It's lighter, brighter, and less musty than the OG CM (which I don't care for) and like other reviewers said: this is an inoffensive, anyone-can-wear-it frag. Not blind buy safe, because CM is polarizing, but lovely if you know you like this style of scent :)
