Extreme fruity opening turns soapy-floral
Amazing. Now I have to write a review, shortly after my statement, because this does not do justice to the fragrance as I initially thought.

I always like to add a little scent when ordering from DM or wherever I’m shopping, especially when something is inexpensive or on sale. Then I tend to pick up things that I would otherwise overlook. This little gem is no exception.

I am surprised by the extremely rapid development. Because where the fragrance initially presents itself as a real fruit bomb, very very sweet and basically a 0-8-15 generic junk, everything changes as soon as the top note fades away... and that happens quickly. Very quickly. Not even 2 minutes later, the cheap fruit bomb transforms into a rather soapy sea of flowers, which is not unpleasant at all and leaves a feminine "clean feeling".

The longevity is okay, especially the base holds up well, although it is very close to the skin. I can hardly imagine anyone being bothered by it, no matter how hard I try.

A Sparkle in the Dark
Opera ...

Perhaps for me, one of the most beautiful Xerjoffs that would definitely be worth the money. Would be, because I don't have a Sugar Daddy. But sooner or later, it will, no must, happen. So not with the Sugar Daddy, but with the fragrance. You understand. xD

Opera is, in my opinion, not unisex, but very, very feminine. I always say this about Xerjoff. That this unisex label is of course not fundamentally wrong, because everyone should wear what they like and think is right. But with Xerjoff, it often seems like they make life as easy as possible. "Don't think about it, just label it unisex, who cares!" I don't know ...

About the scent.
For me, since I got to know it, it feels like a sparkle in the dark, more on this thought in a moment. The fine-tuning of the fragrance components is unparalleled. For my taste, the scent represents a rarely achieved perfection.

A timeless beauty, definitely sexy with a slightly naughty side. Not directly sweet, but certainly with a prominent floral note that leans in that direction, without overwhelming anyone. Still, Opera has a recognizable dominance, not a composition for sweet girls (and boys). Expressive but with soft curves, a bit sparkling through the spices, as soon as the top note fades away.

The association is a dark room. The heavy, noble furniture is only vaguely recognizable. Moonlight falls through the only window onto the bed, the atmosphere is strangely magically charged, like a sparkle, an energetic illusion that hangs in the air.

For me, mega catchy. Impossible to resist. I would love to smell this fragrance on a man who has a very strong, dominant presence. I can't imagine it for the life of me. Opera is, for me, feminine seduction in liquid form.

Razor Water Vibes at Their Finest
Dear ones, I treated myself to a Xerjoff sample set after Lua and Ibitira from the Shooting Stars Collection were the first and last fragrances from the brand to ever land in my collection. I thought it was time to try something different.

Sketchbook - P.33 as well. For me, the name and the bottle are absolutely catchy. I always interpret a thought or a feeling in the name of a fragrance, as I do here. And I was very curious.

However, right after spraying, I felt as if I had bathed in razor water. Admittedly, it seems to be quite a high-quality razor water, definitely masculine, somewhat herbal, cool, and yes, also very fresh.

I am not absolutely sure what triggers this strong, masculine razor water vibe for me. Okay, I admit, it is somewhat sexy in its own way, the scent itself is also pleasing as a whole, but I, as a woman, do not want to smell like this, or certainly not regularly. Of course, I cannot say whether it is just me or my skin, or if my nose is playing tricks on me, which I generally consider to be fairly reliable.

Although, wait, it actually seems that, at least here, more men than women own the fragrance. I see ... !

Yes, I definitely perceive citrus notes, which persist and persist and persist, though I do not mean to say that the longevity itself is above average. Later, the scent becomes a bit softer, cinnamon lingers somewhere in the background and has to be searched for with a magnifying glass.

The price-performance ratio is ridiculous! R-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s.
I would buy a fragrance with this vibe for €6.99 at the drugstore. It may not say Xerjoff on it, but it doesn't have to.

It is not a bad fragrance, really, just in my opinion wrongly marketed with the "unisex" label. As so often with Xerjoff, I also think here that they have simply made it as easy as possible. Basically, anyone can wear what they want, regardless of any gender roles, putting that aside.

Well, there is more in the sample kit ...

A Clever Advertising Lie. ;)
How should I rate the scent other than mediocre? Not that it is particularly bad. On the contrary. The similarity to a well-known, expensive counterpart that has already been mentioned here is undoubtedly astonishing and present.

A look at the fragrance notes reveals to me the skillful and deliberate advertising lie, which I will boldly refer to here. How does heroin smell? How does cocaine smell? Does gasoline and charred wood really work well and wearable in a fragrance that is supposed to appeal to both men and women?

Let's not kid ourselves: The fragrance notes, as they stand, look exciting in theory.

A scent that Rammstein would lend their name to.
Rammstein ...
Extreme.
Polarizing.
Striking.
Different.
Loud.
Certainly not for everyone.

The fragrance notes read just like that. They are MEANT to stand out. They are MEANT to polarize. They are MEANT to evoke the classic Rammstein thought. The fact that NOTHING really smells like that, and that some of the fragrance notes are not even definable as what they are supposed to be, is obvious.

I feel like nonsense is being sold to me here. Something that might elicit a moment of excitement from fangirls and boys, and that's it. It is a relatively tame scent for the money it is definitely worth if you are looking for an alternative to the aforementioned, more expensive counterpart. It works well, but the way it is being sold to me, I find it disgusting (and above all, it is misleading).

I didn't think I would like you ...
... but I do (just to spoil that in advance).

I wanted it because of the bottle. Nothing more. Do you know that feeling? Some things you just want to have. You want to own them, nothing else matters. I mean, just look at the bottle! Any questions?

I am always skeptical about Mugler fragrances. I never thought I would spray Aura and actually like it. I could have sworn that I wouldn't like the scent! Thank God I didn't, because my hand would be nice and crispy and golden brown by now.

This scent is not for little girls.
Not for sweet princesses in pink dresses.
Not a perfume for girls without self-confidence.

Maybe ... the fragrance gives you some self-confidence if you dare to wear it with your head held high.

The sillage is decent, not particularly close to the body and therefore draws attention (quite!) if you overdo it. Green but not piercing or too bitter, with an all-encompassing "Aura" (Yes, the name is program!), yet definitely cool, proud, and sexy, with a hint of sweetness in the background that lures you in.

A man would certainly not be asked if he is wearing a women's fragrance, even though I think a feminine note is quite present. Still, it remains quite unisex for me, even though it technically isn't.

Significantly softer, more soothing later in the base, you eventually wonder if it is still the same perfume. It is astonishing, interesting, and from head to base, it has an exciting progression. Aura is not an everyday scent; it is too present and too self-assured with its cool, rigid dominance, which you might want to indulge in and let it take over from time to time ... but from which you also need breaks.
