Psychedelicious.......70s-Berries-THC-should-smell-green....
... not my associations, but those of my dear husband, which he mentioned after hearing the name of my latest acquisition (without knowing the fragrance notes)...

What exactly prompted me to share, whether I just jumped at the bottle decorated with a beautiful (kitschy) label, ... I can't remember.

I also didn't remember the fragrance notes very well, so I ended up testing the fragrance without looking at them again. I do this quite often and give in to my spontaneous impressions. Only in a second step do I check whether I can identify some of the notes listed. This is also the case here.

The fragrance actually starts off very fruity for me, with raspberry and mango (peel, a hint of bitterness) leading the way, followed by a fresh, greenish note that reminds me of the smell of green wood, i.e. fresh young twigs. This is joined by a pleasantly light, non-sugary sweetness, with a hint of tangy spice and a brief herbaceous note. And then it becomes difficult, somehow ambivalent,...the fragrance gains depth and complexity, but retains a certain lightness and light-heartedness, minimal floral notes emerge, still accompanied by fruit, albeit more berry-heavy. It does not completely leave the fragrance in the drydown either, ultimately adding a little more warmth and woodiness.

Well, so much for the first impression. The following: in addition to the clearly identifiable fruity notes, the effervescence can probably be attributed to the pepper. Of the flowers, I could sense the peony.

Won't be my "all time favorite", but I can imagine wearing it more often and without much thought.

The sillage is average, but can be improved with the number of sprays. It lasts a good 6 hours, after which it becomes skin-deep.
