Caution: this patchouli is not "one size fits all"
All of the notes showed up for me, with no pineapple (like some claim). The coconut note does not make this feel tropical - to my nose this is very much a cold-weather fragrance. The patchouli is the reason behind that, because it's a BEAST in this perfume.

On a tester strip, it smelled like a neutral coconut-y fig home fragrance - like the inside of an "At Home" store. On my skin, the opening was a BLAST of a minty patchouli - like an aftershave menthol that burns your nose and chokes out all other notes.

After 15 minutes, it calmed down into more of a spicy background player - but be warned that for a while you'll smell like you just ripped the leaves off of a patchouli bush, that's how sharp and "natural" the patchouli is.

Similar fragrances, minus the patchouli:
- Sweet Vanilla Fig Eau de Toilette
- Nude Coconut Fig

Not a safe blind-buy - the other 2 mentioned above are safer. My favorite fig frag is still Pink - Sweet Fig.

Gorgeous Gourmand! My signature scent!
My first perfume I bought with my own money and my first gourmand perfume! (This was a blind buy I made thanks to TikTok)
Price: I bought it off FragranceNet mid 2022 for $50!
Review: I adore this! Sweet gourmand fruit like praline and fig - I've had it for months and I still love it. It's sweet but not too sweet, and definitely has a rich deep profile to me. I'm not a professional smeller yet, I can't really pick out additional scents. I honestly think its great for all seasons, day or night!
My signature scent!

Angels, the silly perfumes give figs
Hello you sniffers and welcome to my latest commentary. Today I'm writing about a brand that some of you ladies seem to ignore more often, namely Mugler. Although the Angel scents are at least given a bit more attention than the Aliens… of all things, you don’t look at the Aliens, maaaan. They are such great scents, so delicious, so sexy, but no, you ladies just don’t like them. I keep recommending them, but no, it’s as if I’m talking to a wall. So ridiculous! You’re just so silly, you don’t know what’s good :D
With the Aliens (at least with most Alien scents, especially the Fusion) you smell simply wonderful! So deliciously tempting, but neeeeeeein… ugh so silly, SO SILLY, eyyyyy….!

Ugh, I’ve barely written five sentences and already I’m just complaining. Good thing this is at least an Angel scent, and a pretty good one at that. Because the Eau Croisière 2020 smells wonderful, but without being as overwhelming and intense as the original Angels (EDT and especially the EDP, ugh is that intense :D). It’s just a very nice scent, which probably means that you ladies won’t particularly like this scent either, because it smells so good and you’d rather smell atrocious, right? Blöööödiane, all of you!

Alright, first let’s talk about the scent!

The scent:
Upon spraying, you immediately perceive the general Angel DNA. Even though it doesn’t smell like the EDT or the EDP, you can instantly recognize the similarities and you see or smell that this scent indeed belongs to the Angel family. There’s immediately a spicy aura with a (here rather light) honey touch.
But what’s going on now? Do I smell figs? In an Angel scent? Or did I not wash my arm well enough to remove yesterday’s scent, which had already faded anyway? No, it really smells like figs and lo and behold, there is indeed fig milk in the scent. This scent, combined with other sweet notes, smells truly excellent, as it has a pleasantly green-sweet aroma and doesn’t come off stuffy like some other fig notes (and I hope it stays that way!).
In any case, the scent is already completely different from the version from 2019, although both versions have fruity notes, it’s just that the 2019 version had mangoes instead of figs.
I think it’s great that the figs can still be smelled later on, of course a bit weaker, but they are there and continue to smell good. So nothing becomes stuffy in the remaining scent progression. Otherwise, you smell the typical spicy notes that you know from all Angels. If you smell closely, you can even still detect that honey note, which, however, becomes weaker and had started off very weak anyway.
To the base, the scent mostly smells as described. It’s slightly fruity, spicy, and sweet (though upon closer sniffing it might seem a little chocolatey, but if it weren’t mentioned, I would never think of praline here).
A very nice scent!

The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is quite good, but nowhere near as strong as other Angel scents. Nevertheless, that’s okay, as you can be well-smelled without filling the surroundings with the scent for hours :D
For longevity, I would say at least seven to eight hours. That sounds less than typical Angel scents, yet the longevity is long.

The bottle:
You really don’t need to say much about Mugler bottles. Most look simply super and stand out from many other bottles. This one also has the typical star shape, now with beautiful green-blue-red color gradients, although the spray head is, as always, chrome-plated. As I said, a beautiful bottle.

Conclusion:
Wow, I really liked this scent. Strictly speaking, it’s not an absolute must-have, but still just a very nice scent! Moreover, it belongs to the few Angel scents that you can wear not only in autumn and winter but also on somewhat warmer days. It’s perfect for going out and looking nice, but you’ll never find out because you always ignore Mugler scents, ah ha ha, but maybe you’ll at least take a look at some Angels.

I particularly loved the fig note, which not only smelled very nice (and here without becoming stuffy) but also lasted quite long, which is rather rare with fig notes. Overall, the fruity touch is very welcome, which is why I also liked the previous Eau Croisière from 2019. So in my opinion, this scent here is worth a look!

I’m coming to an end now. I know that in this commentary I got a bit more worked up about you ladies again, but sometimes you leave me no choice! You women drive me absolutely crazy!!! :DDD

He he, well then, I wish you a nice evening and see you next time :)

Star Ahoi!
At first, I struggled with the Urstern - the scent was too omnipresent for me.

But then I remembered the term "swarm intelligence" and had to admit that so many wearers can't be wrong.

Angel also scored points with me - and I didn't stop at its flankers.
So today I discovered croisiere and rummaged through my French knowledge.
Croi ... Croi something with cross?
Or a crossing?

My husband impatiently said it must be a "cross" to be standing around here in the store - most likely a "cruise" is meant.

I am perplexed by his deductive skills and need to linger a bit longer, completely lost in memories of my voyages with my dear father.
It was as colorful as the shimmering star.

Especially lovely were our stays in the onboard perfumery, where my dad and I could spend forever.
This variety of bottles and scents was simply heavenly.
And the best part was that we shared our opinions about each fragrance with each other.

And this radiant star would have pleased my father as well.
It shines soft pink like the gentle magnolia, lightly drizzled with fig milk, and on top of that, the melting praline. Delicious!
Patchouli forms a noble frame.

This cruise takes place gently on calm seas.

I hope my father is crossing through the clouds on an impressive four-masted ship.
Always a hand's breadth of water under the keel.

A Real Treat!
Thierry really knocked it out of the park with this summer hit! It lands straight at number 1 on my "to wear" fragrances for this summer.

Fruity, exotic, sweet, a bit classy and bitter, I think it's the patchouli. Then just a hint of floral.

Oh, and the bottle! Just as beautiful as this super cheerful, mood-lifting fragrance. Like it!

PS: The next day before showering, the scent even reminds me a bit of "Muse" by Mugler. The praline?!

A floral lactonic scent I like it but I feel like the spillage is so weak and it lasts maybe 3-4 hours

Green, tangy, sweet (but not overly so), coconutty. Best worn at the seaside! Also works as a great pick-me-up in winter ️

I think it's good. DufterMann, on the other hand, says: "Yuck! Pungent/cloying/sweet - even Linus's (the cat's) poop smells better!!"

Fruity-herbaceous, green-rosé fig milk with just a hint of angel DNA in the base. A summer dream, light and fluffy but unusual!!

The Eau Croisière theme is clearly recognizable. This year it's a bit greener and more robust than 2019. Tropical-creamy without really being an angel.
