The grenade of Spices
Before I left the house today to run some errands, I wanted to treat myself and spritzed a few sprays on my T-shirt. The opening is spicy, sweet, and fresh at the same time.
The notes that I perceived the strongest:
Bergamot, cinnamon, tobacco, and surprisingly for the first time vetiver. (Which I thought was thyme.)
All in all, a great fragrance, in a beautiful and humorous bottle.
I would like to add something about my experience with this scent.
I have been on Parfumo for about 3 years and have been using fragrances for quite some time.
I can't remember ever receiving multiple compliments from strangers about one of my perfumes in just one day (like today).
In this regard, Spicebomb has really hit people like a grenade of fine and aromatic oils.
And I want to say something to newcomers. This incident shows once again that unknown designer fragrances can have a pleasant effect on the people around the wearer, not a bothersome one at all. (Even Spicebomb at 27 degrees in Cyprus)
That the inflated king of fragrances, Aventus (I like it and have a 30ml decant myself) is not impervious, just like Invictus (I own that one too) is not unbeatable ;)

Navegar? I don't know it...
I can't say anything about the bottle since I don't own it and only have/had a sample.
Since we have warm weather today, I wanted to try something new and sprayed it on my neck..... The first whiff.......
Oh man, that was not particularly pleasant, sour and spicy at the same time with an intensity of fifteen sprays...
I first thought, "Maybe the sample has gone bad..."
NO, APPARENTLY NOT!!!
In the top note, there's an intense lime with strong ginger and a hint of pepper.
The heart notes include rum (which I don't like at all, and only in combination with something sweet), DEFINITELY BLACK PEPPER....
I haven't reached the base notes yet, but I'm sure cedarwood will be significant here.
A drunken Jack Sparrow would probably like this, but unfortunately, I do not :)
I wish everyone on Parfumo and in Germany a nice day and a great weekend!
DON'T FORGET TO WEAR MASKS!!!

Prejudices...
Valentino Uomo Intense was already known to me, but only by name. During a visit to a perfume shop, I was practically urged to test this fragrance, but I didn’t do it. Somehow, I found the bottle superficial and kitschy.
Anyway, a few months ago, I received a sample from a nice lady here. I was glad about it, but a bit disappointed that it was this kitschy scent, which by the way, Jeremy also likes to promote.
Since the climate of my residence is rather hot, I didn’t have the opportunity to test it. But when it thundered this morning and the weather cooled down, I decided not to use a fresh scent. In my travel bag, I found the sample and sprayed the fragrance on my jacket. A slightly spicy-sweet scent presented itself, but it was about to get much better. During the lecture, the fragrance unfolded, and it became heavenly. It was something familiar to me, but I couldn’t quite place it. An Arab student sitting next to me leaned over and suddenly started asking all sorts of questions, and I’m sure she was fascinated by the iris-vanilla combo, which also applies to me...
This experience showed me that one should not judge a fragrance by its bottle or even by the brand. Prejudices are often unjustified and also silly, as you might miss out on good opportunities and experiences. This applies to all areas of our hopefully beautifully scented life :)

I still remember...
… I was 12 when I first encountered this fragrance. I found a small sample of sun in the bathroom cabinet. I sprayed it on my wrist (how professional) :) Back then, I was enchanted by this EdT. This sweet, summery creamy scent seemed very sexy to me...:D
It wasn't until I was 26 that I bought a bottle for myself, and after all, the scent is long-lasting, especially on clothing. Unfortunately, I don't know how this creaminess comes about. Jil Sander-Sun is actually a representation of sun-tan lotion, the beach, the sea, and everything that belongs to a holiday in the south.
Although I no longer consider this fragrance a gem nowadays, in its category of holiday scents, this perfume is probably one of the best.
By the way, the bottle is handy and solid, while also being practical, fitting into most bags, etc...

Herbal Bath
As we know, all Xerjoff fragrances are quite expensive, at Istanbul Airport, 100ml costs around 350-400 Euros. The very first fragrance that captivated me was Mefisto, after which I set out to find other Xerjoff scents. Fortunately, I bought some affordable decants from this house last summer, and I do not regret it.
Nevertheless, my favorite so far is Fiero; this fragrance is quite spicy-green and lightly fresh in design. Initially, I perceive the freshness but cannot quite place it, yet after some time, once the top notes have passed, it becomes easier for me personally. This spicy-green is mainly tarragon-thyme, while I perceive mint rather weakly. The best description that comes to mind for this fragrance is a herbal bath. I immediately had associations with certain herbs, or rather calming baths.
I use this fragrance when I want to relax and calm down.
Regarding performance, I can only say good things. It lasts on the skin for up to 10 hours, and the sillage is also at arm's length, rather discreet, if you only apply 1 or 2 sprays.
The bottles and bags from the house of Xerjoff are very well crafted; they appear elegant and sublime.
