It all started relatively inconspicuously with a sample of Creed Aventus, after I have already heard and read so much about this fragrance. When the sample arrived at home and I smelled it for the first time, I knew what some people mean by an eye opener when they describe a fragrance. That's exactly what happened to me. I just couldn't get enough of this striking scent. But now to the scent itself. Immediately after spraying it on, you are confronted with a very fresh accord that smells of fresh and juicy apples on the one hand, and on the other hand, you can already sense a wonderful smoky scent that is, however, kept somewhat in the background. This facet is also what gives it its masculinity in my opinion and gives it a very wonderful balance between something fresh and tart. Gradually, the tart (or smoky) comes out, but the fresh is never completely lost either and just fades into the background. When the fragrance has reached its end after hours, it becomes a little sweeter and the typical Creed ambergris comes to the fore.
The durability with Aventus is allrdings such a thing. After 4-6 hours CAN be all the fun already over - depending on skin type. In addition, a little tip: if sprayed on body, then apply a little odorless cream before and then spray on. Or of course, as always, just spray on clothes for a longer lasting result. People keep referring to the different margins at Aventus. I have now smelled several different margins of Aventus and must say that they actually differ only marginally. Also on the subject of durability they differ only marginally in my experience.
Aventus is only a few years on the market, but will probably moult to a classic, because he is timeless, fresh, elegant and masculine and appears at no time intrusive. In addition, he can be worn all year round and is wearable on all occasions (and I really mean on all occasions!!!).

Although an upscale price range, so Aventus can be seen and does not have to hide behind the other Creed fragrances. Whether you want to spend so much money on a fragrance and thus stand out from the crowd of Le Males and Paco Rabannes fragrances, everyone must decide for themselves. But should you have a sample of it once, it should already be around you :). Also, I haven't met a single person who didn't like it, which is saying something. The concept between freshness and woodiness has worked out excellently here and probably everyone will be able to remember something past from their youth or childhood that they associate with the fragrance.
