Between Enthusiasm and Sheer Disappointment
Jeremy is a person who knows how to polarize - and that's exactly how I see this fragrance.
The scent itself is nothing extraordinary: a fresh, citrusy synthetic bomb that combines many well-known and popular fragrances, bringing out the best from the worlds of Aventus, Bleu de Chanel, and Sauvage. It sounds boring at first, but it is actually well-made, as it smells familiar on one hand, yet comes across as quite new on the other.
The fragrance starts off very fresh and citrusy due to the bergamot and ambroxan, and it has a very slight deodorant spray character - which fades quite quickly and doesn't bother much. Over time, woody notes and a light, but quite pleasant spiciness join in. Throughout the entire scent development, however, the fragrance remains very fresh and does not change significantly. It doesn't sound like a spectacular scent, as one would expect from Jeremy. But it does exactly what it is supposed to do - and it does it damn well, perhaps even better than most other fragrances that exude a similar vibe. This is evidenced by the numerous compliments I have received for this scent. No other perfume has brought me such a volume of positive feedback as this one - whether from complete strangers on the street or within my circle of friends. "You smell like a god" - to mention one of the compliments I’ve received for this fragrance.
Office for Men definitely has its place and is really fun to wear, as it fits perfectly for most occasions - you have to give this scent that.
But where there is light, there is also shadow, and this fragrance is no exception. Starting with the packaging: You get a white box with the print of the bottle and the name of the fragrance - okay, I could still live with that, as the outer packaging is not that important to me. But the rest of the presentation has to be right - and that is not the case with Jeremy's fragrances at all. The top cap of the bottle is a simple aluminum cap that you can crush with two fingers, it’s that thin. The sprayer is merely stamped into the bottle and receives no coating, making it look like a cheap fragrance from the drugstore that has not been given any love for detail. When you hold the fragrance in your hand, you feel like two or three production steps are missing - as if you are holding an unfinished product. And this at a price of €249 before discount.. In my opinion, that is outrageous and really disappoints me about this fragrance. Shame on you, Jeremy - you could have definitely done better if you had wanted to.
All in all, it is a great fragrance that is versatile and guarantees compliments for the wearer. However, this is marred by the aforementioned price and the extremely poor presentation. If you overlook the latter, you have a fantastic perfume that prepares you well for the upcoming season. :)

The Neat Guy with Character
Prada L'Homme is a fragrance that I initially overlooked for no good reason. Too fresh, too clean, I thought to myself as I sprayed it on a test strip at Douglas just to have a quick sniff. How can this boring scent receive such high attention on social media, I kept wondering, without ever giving the fragrance a proper and fair chance.
After a long day at the mall with my girlfriend, we stopped by Douglas one last time to wrap up the day, more out of boredom than with a clear goal. This time, my girlfriend picked up Prada L'Homme and sprayed it on me. She was immediately thrilled, and so I misted myself with this fragrance for the first time to finally give it a fair chance. Not bad at all, I thought as I was now wearing it, and I allowed myself to embrace the scent. The more time passed, the more I could understand why this fragrance enjoys such high regard among the public. Sweet, fresh, powdery, and a very subtle spiciness that gives the fragrance an all-rounder character.
Sure, the scent is not THE revelation, but one has to give it credit: Almost no other fragrance can be used so versatilely as it can, without coming off as too boring or too simple. A great fragrance that has shown me that a simple spray on a test strip doesn't do many scents justice and that it is sometimes necessary to fully immerse oneself in the fragrance and give it time. Today, I enjoy wearing it for any occasion, whether at the gym, in the office, or visiting family.
