I have been wearing Portraits of Portofino by Birkholz for some time now and I must say: The scent has pleasantly surprised me.
Right after spraying, a fresh, slightly citrusy note emerges, instantly conveying that Mediterranean feeling - like a warm day by the sea. It smells clean, elegant, and not artificial. After a few minutes, the scent becomes softer and rounder. For me, it takes on a creamy and slightly floral quality, without becoming sweet or heavy.
What I particularly like: It feels high-quality and well thought out, but not intrusive. You stand out pleasantly without the whole room smelling of it. The longevity is good for me - I can definitely perceive it for several hours, and on clothing even longer.
I think it is especially suitable for spring and summer, both during the day and in the evening. It has this relaxed, stylish aura - not flashy, but confident.
For me, Portraits of Portofino is a fragrance you wear when you want to appear well-groomed and elegant without overdoing it. Not a “loud statement” perfume, but rather a quiet, high-quality companion. simply amazing wowwwwww

You don't get compliments? Then try this fragrance out. I wore it for just one day and received compliments even from an older lady. It has very pleasant notes and seductive warm tones. The price is, of course, somewhat okay, but for €300 for 100ml, I definitely find the fragrance to be worth the price-performance ratio. Together with Babycat, it's a top fragrance and holds the number one spot for me. The only downside is that the fragrance unfortunately has many dupes or 1:1 copies that are just as perfect, but that somewhat tarnishes the image of the perfume.
