Best designer fragrance? Possibly...
Dior Homme Intense is a woody, floral gourmand perfume that is very warm and cozy.
I detect a slight hint of lipstick, although it's not as intense as many reviews suggest.
It's actually a very pleasant note that comes from the iris.
The special thing about this perfume is its amazing ability to be an androgynous perfume. It can be worn by a very masculine, subtle and well-groomed man, but also by a feminine, ultra-divine and characterful woman.
In the opening, I get a hint of iris which is amazing... then it dries down to a soft, ambery-vanilla-powdery base, giving a powdery, plastic scent which is quite intriguing.
In the middle, pear and cedar come out, this is the best part of the perfume for me.
The cedar is definitely a high quality virgin cedar wood.... it's beautiful.
The drydown is a soft, almost vanilla drydown (ambrette seed?) that is buttery and musky...gorgeous!
It is an extremely sophisticated and luxurious fragrance that is loud but discreet at the same time, many compliments.
The longevity of this fragrance is amazing, for me it is up to 12 hours.
Make sure you try it on your skin! It will change the way you look at masculine fragrances :)

Better than the Eros original
This fragrance smells fantastic, with a creamy blend of orange and tonka. The vanilla and mint are very distinct and separate, but very well balanced by the tonka. It works!
It starts soft and loud then becomes spicy and intimate, but maintains good projection until it's gone. Fortunately, my skin tolerates the vanilla mint very well, so I tend to notice the scent of the drydown for the duration of the perfume. The drydown is nice and I get vanilla and woody notes.
Longevity: Up to 10 hours on my skin
Projection: strong projection in the first 3-4 hours, then a nice 2-meter sillage up to about 5-6 hours.
Emotions: seductive, sexy, sweet, striking, modern, fresh, great
Flacon: very beautiful

Great entry-level perfume classic from the CR7 range
I bought it as a blind buy and am very impressed.
