I love this smell! The opening and middle have just the right amount of dry-sharpness with the cardamom and cedar, then 4-6 hours later it smooths out with a really delicious and creamy sandalwood. Lasts about 8-10 hours on my skin

Cedar !
Smells a lot like a cedar chest or closet, really accurate sharpness but it does have a bit of smoothness to it. But if you don't like cedar you probably won't like this.
Very unisex...wish it projected just a little longer! The oil is much stronger on my skin than the EdP and I love wearing it at home on lazy nights.

Amber? or Musk?
Very light and clean smelling. It can get a bit soapy if you put on too much but it's an overall good smell. Doesn't really read as "amber" to me.. not quite warm enough.
Haven't smelled the original formulation but I enjoy the one I have, it's good for layering or a simple & clean skin-scent. Sits very close to the skin

Green & Great for Layering
So crisp! So fresh! So un-apologetically green!
I'm a huge fan of tomato leaf notes and this is like someone took an almost-ripe ripe tomato plant, snipped off the biggest leaves, and put them right in my face. I get basil, some light florals and oakmoss growing in the garden as well. Very unisex all around.
Worst part is how quickly it fades..Maybe a splasher would be better (and it does last significantly longer on clothing) but for the price I'm just not sure it's worth it unless you /really/ like the scent. I still would love to get a full-sized bottle one day so I'm not so scared of using it all up!

Dark Waters
Dark but sharp. Opening splash of citrus barely stays, I can smell it for maybe one minute. The middle is really nice, the cypress and water help balance each other out, smells masculine without getting over-confident. Has a slight "ink" accord to it but I never find it to be overwhelming.
Not your typical "sport" scent, but compared to the OG Encre Noire it is more traditionally masculine and blue. Office safe
